You know what they are still apart of some 13yr olds life in 2020. This bands longevity is baffling but at the same time i get it. I'm 46 and still love this band
You nailed it Irene, immortal bliss. As a hard core fan of 80's no other 80's band evolved with such sophistication. If I had to pick one song this is it...2nd place would be Black Celebration.
Bloody hell! This is the third different intro for ''Walking in My Shoes''. I loved the previous one with the heavy infra bass featured in the Live in Barcelona. But this one with its synthetic bips sounds even better with bass played on keyboard. Drummer Christian Eigner is remarkable. Should last more than 20 seconds. These guys are incredible. They are reinventing themselves. Dave Gahan is still on top after nearly 40 years of stage. Hats off.
Dave STILL has it. And better yet, he doesn't appear to just be going through the motions, he looks like he's still moved to be singing Martin's lyrics. Depeche are aging like a fine wine.
Exactly, even bands that have only been around half as long as DM, their lead singer just goes through the motions and doesn't hardly even sing. Vince Neil of Motley Crue sounds like shit live and I saw them three times in their heyday at the height of their career.
this song will always have a special place in my heart. i hear to this whether i'm happy or sad. when i saw them live last wednesday, i shed some tears to this. Immortal lyrics...immortal band.
Potešilo ma to ! , It is a pleasure for so many years that they hear that an old and beautiful song to play in the new format ... I am delighted that! ,
I've loved this band since 1981 when I first heard photographic on speak and spell I've Instructed my daughter to play this at my funeral., it's a masterpiece of a song as is sofad as an album This song sums up everything for me.
I would tell you about the things They put me through The pain I've been subjected to But the lord himself would blush The countless feasts laid at my feet Forbidden fruits for me to eat But I think your pulse would start to rush Now I'm not looking for absolution Forgiveness for the things I do But before you come to any conclusions Try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes You'll stumble in my footsteps Keep the same appointments I kept If you try walking in my shoes If you try walking in my shoes Morality would frown upon Decency look down upon The scapegoat fate's made of me But I promise now, my judge and jurors My intentions couldn't have been purer My case is easy to see I'm not looking for a clearer conscience Peace of mind after what I've been through And before we talk of any repentance Try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes You'll stumble in my footsteps Keep the same appointments I kept If you try walking in my shoes If you try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes Now I'm not looking for absolution Forgiveness for the things I do But before you come to any conclusions Try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes You'll stumble in my footsteps Keep the same appointments I kept If you try walking in my shoes You'll stumble in my footsteps Keep the same appointments I kept If you try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes If you try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes
