FULL PLAYLIST: • From Beats to Bullets:...
Gregory Vaughn Hill, Jr., was shot and killed through his garage door on January 14, 2014 by deputy Christopher Newman of St Lucie County Sheriff's Office in Fort Pierce, Florida, in response to a noise complaint. Police were on the scene less than a minute.
Hill was found with an unloaded gun, with no fingerprints, recognizable DNA or blood splatter. Plus, the fatal shot shows he couldn't have been holding it in his hand in his own home.
Gunshots rang out after police were called to Mr Hill's home when a parent collecting her child from a nearby primary school reportedly complained about loud music coming from his garage. Mr. Hill was listening to Drake's, "All Me." The 911 call we include is that call.
Officers arrived and knocked on the garage door, then knocked on the front door and then Mr. Hill quickly opened and shut his door. No outside witness heard commands, saw a gun on his hand or otherwise saw Mr. Hill do anything wrong. The other officer on scene heard Deputy Newman, shout, "hey," while another witness saw him jump backward. He fired off 4 shots in less than 2 seconds immediately killing Hill through his CLOSED garage door.
