Depot Nigerian Army Training to all that need to learn more skills, be Paramilitary,Voluntary Organization or Association and personal use to help keep fit.
One important function of this is to break their ego, whatever their backgrounds, then mould them into soldiers with loyalty and camaraderie to each other and the army..The mocking by the instructor also helps to do this.
This is not the major training. This is called welcome to depot or baptism, it's done all over the world. It is to let you know you are not above anyone. Be you president child you must pertake on this. Long live Nigerian Army
What would this do to the recruits. When rounds are passing around and one gets hit you will get time and be rolling in dirty water. They have to change the training bcos this is not training but punishment
Most parents don't want but the children always choose to be ,, most if them der will to and it has been their dream to be an army , so dey don't see the training and drill as problem... They were ready since before dey join. That's why it's voluntary and free to join... You can never be forced... Na you go use ur hand fill the form...
This isn't a fighting force, it's a cry for help. The so-called "GIANT OF AFRICA" trains men who want to fight and die for their country like this. It is a shame that despite the budget allocation running into billions of nairas that goes to the Nigerian Armed forces, our gallant NCO's are drilled this way
Anyone remember as kids when you were playing in the rain. That’s exactly what they are doing here.: simply rolling in mud. The skills that improves I have no idea.
This training is simply to build the ability of a soldier to resist torture if eventually he gets captured by enemies and he has vital information with him
@@abdulrahmanakande7592 hahaha what ?? Nice to know to torture them the enemies would simply just put the soldiers in mud? To get information out of them, right? Nice to know that rolling in mud will prepare the soldier because It’s absolutely very physically and mentally demanding/challenging.
@@oghensatumah7867 This is not the major training. This experience is what makes soldiers stand for each other be it in good and bad times. The major reason for all this is to make you know no matter your background and godfather you are not above anyone. Is to build you inorder not to see insult and chawus from your superiors as bully. Also to remove the civilian mentality in you.
@@winnerkalu8055 explainswhy after they come out of army they end up maltreating their own citizens - because they’ve been maltreated during their training. With all this you talk about Nigerian army are still lack respect and dignity when they encounter their fellow citizens. Bullshit
The best brains in the country will never join the Nigerian Military, particularly the army because those in charge of the training are too dense to understand the basic ideology of success. Take a look at the best armed forces in the world, do you see them treating their soldiers like criminals?
this is training. remember they are soldiers in the making. the enemy will never treat them any better. so is best to experience the worst case scenario
+benjamin simon Yeah I know but like I stated earlier, do you see the best armed forces in the world behaving like that? Go and look at what the do, this is the information age and whether you like it or not, we'll need intelligent people at every level in the military, but obsolete mode of training like that would discourage the most competent people because such people know what they worth and won't let anyone ridicule them for nothing. Remember, this rubbish didn't help us in winning the war against boko haram, what helped was an inclusive strategy of proper planning, diligence, intelligence, discipline, etc.
+Kan Abhulimen Yeah, I have done my research already, that's why I am making statements about it. There is a big difference between hardwork with encouragement, decipline and diligence as compared to the absurd punitory actions in that video. Mr man you need to do your homework go beyound the Navy Seals if you like you can check out the US Marine Corps and British SAS. Perhaps you prefer having soldiers that will bit the hell out of innocent you and run away from boko haram.
Now i know why the Nigeria Army are so quick in making most Civilians seat in th dirty mud water, cos they were treated the same way in training; No more talk...
These people look way more fit than the video Alex Jones reposted on X. I think this video is misleading from the last video. Readers context is manipulative
If you are not in the military especially army you won't understand it. Before I joined the army no one dare insult me and free. But after my army training I realize insult can't kill you. The insults is what you will encounter in the job especially from your seniors,so from this training you as a soldier will start seeing abusive words as normal talk.
What is the meaning of this, you don't talk to Nigeria army officers like that, even if you are big officer, that is why some of the army officers beat Nigerians on the street,FG should look into this
Brother this not the major training. This is called welcome to depot or baptism, it's done all over the world. This is to let you know you are not above anyone,be you president child you must pertake.
What a clown wannabe super power of Africa. They can't even intervene and sort out trouble around ecowas nations like USA will do. Gambia President is basically laughing at Nigeria, lol.
