Sometimes people want to help but don't know how. Conversely, sometimes people need help but don't know how to ask. Here are some things that I've found helpful and/or things that would've been helpful to me when I experienced depression/autistic burnout.
*Always be respectful of people’s privacy and boundaries when offering help.
**Be certain of your relationship to the person you are trying to help as someone in a fragile state may become distressed if someone with whom they are not closely acquainted tries to help.
