My father designed glassware for a lot of the companies that have gone out of business. He designed for L E Smith, Anchor Hocking, Cambridge Glass, Fenton and even Lenox. I was lucky enough to get 1 of everything he made.
Hello, my father recently died and my grandpa a while back. he was a jewler, i found like huge amounts of miss america wrapped in old newspaper in the attic. but it's more pink? all packed away. i have salt n pepper shakers, and a butterdish you name it, i got it. I'm trying to figure out more about it and google keeps taking me to ebay and i don't know if ebay is real or not. how come yours are more clear and mine are pinkish? thank you and God bless you.
Miss America was made by a different company than what she is showing here. Pink as well green depression wares vary slightly in color depending on the company that made them.
EBay isn't a good site for value ( or identification either always). Check Depression, vintage and EAPG sites, there's many great FB groups with experts who can give you great information, and it's fun to see all the different types of glass there are. EBay and Etsy are real, but not always accurate, and only confirm what someone might have paid for an item. It's not proof of true market value. For a true ID and appraisal, contact Dr Lori. She got a RU-vid channel with all her contact info, she is a true professional, expert in antiques and valuables.

Shelia, if I uploaded pressed glassware image on my youtube channel would you be able to appraise it via video HD imaging remotely. If so what price might you charge for such an appraisal? You can contact me via my youtube channel. I have about 20 clear pressed glass six inch plates. Each has a sunburst pattern in the center (bottom) of them. I know they are over 60 years old, because my mother bought them before I was born in 1954. Possibly in the 30s or 40s. I don't know for sure.
