Switched to a bungee system on my EON Core. And I have two bungees, 4mm, for the redundancy. Great video as always.

And to make it more confusing aqualung has given you a semi stretcheable nato strap Shearwater has brought to you a flat style fully adjustable bungee Too many choices these days lol... by the way sweet tattoo

Do you use Loctite on your backplate screws?

Hello Bug Bear, great question. I personally do not. Two flat head screw drivers and a little bit of elbow grease works fine for me.

All of your videos are great. Thank you for taking the time. I have a question. Today I went on my first open water dive to become qualified as a scuba diver. "Visibility was horrible around 2 ft at the bottom." During each one of my ascents I experienced decompression issues with my left ear. Bit of pain accompanied by a crackling sound, finishing with a hissing sound and relief of pain. Are these symptoms you have heard other divers commenting on? I understand a reverse block is somewhat uncommon. Also, how lame is it that my first dive ever was in such low visibility? Also I'm in Seattle and was diving alki Beach with bottom temp at 49°F- 9.444°C with 7 mil wetsuit. Thank you again brother.

Hello don r, sounds like a minor case of bara trauma in your ear. I would suggest going to see an Ear Nose and Throat Specialist.
