it's actually "the peope's police officer" not "the people's police" since the "Polizist" in "Volkspolizist" refers to the officer, "The People's Police" would be "Volkspolizei"
Kinda funny when you get told of East berlin it was all Be sceared of any of the Government workers then you get this song by the Police Force of the DDR its just so not what you'd expect when other songs are like so vocal of being loud and just proud and then you get this pice 😂🤣
