You can keep your shirt on...one of these debt plans really helped me a lot when I got taken advantage of over a brake job and an internet buddy pulled out of a vacation. My credit was preserved and, ten years later, is superb. I was able to pay off my debt without damaging my credit! So worth consideration.
It’s pathetic that it takes social media pressure to shame law enforcement into finally arresting people who’ve constantly threatened others in their own homes.
The first guy who violated the stalking order TEN TIMES?? Why would it take pressure from social media before police acted on this?! What the fuck are your tax dollars paying for?!
I would never be able to leave my wife’s side if that “are you sure” guy showed up at our house. The feeling of the husband being at work and not being in the area to protect her was probably so gut wrenching. I’m so glad they’re both safe.
@@carltonbanks5470he was just being weird at first, so she probably didn't think to call the cops or thought it would be useless. He only stated his deranged intentions once the husband talked to him through the Ring camera. Also, idk how the situation is where she lives, but the husband might actually get there much faster than the cops do. I recently listened to a case where a woman had some deranged guy break imto her home and she managed to grab her laptop and hide in a closet in her bathroom. She then messaged her husband, who was at work, telling him to call 911. He did and immediately left work and started also driving back home. He got there after like 20 minutes when the intruder was about to finally break into the closet the woman was hiding in. The police were STILL NOT THERE. They ended up only arriving after 25 fucking minutes.
@kingrhythmo9045 Not for nothing but my finger can pull the trigger just as well as my husband's can. People need to make sure they are prepared for dangerous situations, not depend on others because they may not always be available.
@@sue7734 That's how someone really knows they're in the (so called) Land of the Free, huh? When even sitting quietly in one's own house is considered so dangerous that one needs a firearm for protection. Hooray for freedom, right?
It's honestly baffling how little was done with most of these cases even though the evidence was RIGHT THERE until law enforcement felt pressured enough by social media. Even the last segment where all 3 suspects were caught and sent to jail for 15-20 years didn't feel enough, especially after knowing that they willingly shot a kid. 15-20 years feel so little compared to the lifetime of trauma that family and kid will be going through
Because the Supreme Court case Winnebago and Town of Castle Rock vs. Gonzales, the supreme court has ruled that police agencies are not obligated to provide protection of citizens. Cops don’t have to protect us at all just assets.
It's cause it was in England. I'll be honest I am kind of shocked they got as much time as they did, the laws are so lax there compared to America's even for similar crimes.
Incorrect. The cops almost always take these people into custody, however it’s up to judges and district attorneys who decide if and when they can get released. Like you said Law ENFORCEMENT, The Law
I cant believe it took her uploading the videos so that there was public pressure to actually doing something when clear evidence was being presented...
Lauren's response is honestly pretty typical for domestic abuse victims. Glad he took himself out because she would have recanted on the rape accusations and made a mess of a trial. Not because she's a bad person, but because victims just often do that because they fear retribution or fear the person they love getting in trouble. And I hope she gets some therapy. It's safe to say you love and forgive a dead man. Less so if you still seek out people like that in your life.
The "are you sure" story is so creepy. The thought of a complete stranger coming to your house and threatening to do horrible things to you must be terrifying. I feel bad for the couple.
Same, i can’t believe people threaten people those disgusting actions, some actually “succeed” which is even more horrible, after killing them. Like a lot, stay safe man.
I saw the guy in "Are You Sure?" Segment get covered in a Nick Crowley video two years back, and to say that this guy is mentally unwell would be an understatement. I'm glad that this man was caught before the situation got any worse and someone got hurt.
The way he sounded so calm while at the same time rehearsing a conversation, messing it up and repeating the same simple phrase over and over.. The human version of a computer bug, completely unpredictable..
Here’s the thing. Apartments complexes are private property. It all falls down to the landlords. If they give permission to physically remove a tenant because they’re been aggressive they can. Police can’t just walk into a private property and do as they please. (Yes this even applies at parking lots. If in a parking lot there’s a stop sign and you jump it, a police officer CAN’T cite you for it because you did it in private property. It would fall down on the owner of the land to proceed with legal actions )They must have a valid reason, such a crime been committed outside the premises and following the suspect into the private land (the apartment complex) The tenant was slashing and damaging the landlords property, because at the end of the day the people living inside that room are renters, not owners. The psychopath was also using his freedom oh speech even if it’s a “threat” it’s still freedom of speech. You can’t go to jail for yelling at someone “I’ll fucking kill you” because it’s not a crime… at least not yet. But if the police went around jailing anyone that yells threats half the US would be behind bars including children that get upset during video game online matches. The real people at fault are the landlords for not removing a violent tenant that showed motive to do harm.
It seems freaky as fuck to me. Why have all of them together? What were they trying to do w the disguise? My first thought was that investigator guy was trying to get the door open & the other guys were gonna rush the owner and do something bad to them.
Ya def something not right with that whole set up. I think they wanted to rob/kidnap someone.. But couldn’t get anyone to answer and possibly the one who did answer didn’t fit the profile of the victim they wanted. Why have 3 other guys just waiting in the back? Def up to no good. The fact that the ring leader gets arrested for SA of a minor only a few years later is terrifying. Makes me think they were looking for young women/girls to possibly abduct or assault that night.
I feel for Lauren. Speaking from experience, abuse victims are often groomed to love their abusers unconditionally. It can take years after the fact to unlearn that.
I recommend you watch a movie called Poughkeepsie Tapes if you haven't already. A much more fucked up version of what you pointed out here happens in the movie and it's honestly kinda messed up
Can't help but notice that in both the Karen and apartment neighbor situations, a minority family being very clearly harassed weren't taken seriously by law enforcement, despite clear evidence, until they turned to the internet to put public pressure on them, but I'm sure that's a coincidence
The detective Rushmore one is scary if you read between the lines. He's investigating a kidnapping, there's 3 people in a getaway vehicle then 3 years later he's in jail for sa on a minor. Those 4 were definitely looking for kids to steal
Holy crap, you're right! He was just arrested Oct 5th 2023 on a class c felony, sa on a minor, 15yr old. This is more like 'the rest of the story' than reading between the lines! I'm surprised wavy didn't follow through with this little tidbit of information.
The only problem with that is why would he be going door to door at night looking for kids to steal? I hear what you're saying and all too don't get me wrong, it just seems unlikely a parent is gonna let anyone, even a detective, anywhere near their kid at midnight or later.
@voteZDLR I don't think the time was stated and if the kids up at night there's a good chance they'd come to the door to see why the police are here. I know I did when they came to my house once as a kid. All it takes is a couple seconds to grab them run to the car and 4 against 1 as much as we'd be rooting for the dad it wouldn't work out for him more than likely. Idk seems weird could of just as easily been larping 🤷♀️
@@scvrlett18 It's clearly nighttime tho. Most of these incidents seem to have taken place at night. I dunno I think he's just a crazy kid who was RPing a detective cause he was bored, either that or they were casing houses for later burglary attempts. Who knows. OH and the only other detail is yeah he got SA but it wasn't like he was actually going for KIDS necessarily, he was a 23 year old who assaulted a 15 year old. It could be an actual assault, or it could be her parents found out and didn't like that their teenage girl was fooling around with a 23 year old man. It's just too difficult to speculate.
It makes me so damn angry that the two cases of racist harassment and threats are conpletely ignored by local police, even with clear video evidence. Only until they were embarrassed by the videos going viral does anything change. Ugh!
What's worse is the racist black guy that targeted White elderly people and children and ran them over during a parade but you're worried about some druggie being a nuisance
@@HarringtonsApocyExactly. It's like how Charlottsville PD didn't have enough cops on hand for the Unite the Right rally. Almost felt as if a bunch of them called off to go do something that day...
@SB-NaFeTsYeah, no. Even if the number of knife crimes went down, they would likely just get replaced by shootings (and we're not even going to get into how there's at least one mass shooting in the US every week); plus, not everyone in the US owns a gun, nor would they necessarily have ready access to it if a burglar were bold enough to push their way into a home with the residents present (not unless you're some paranoid weirdo that always keeps a gun strapped to their body or out in the open, even with kids present), especially if they have their own guns out and ready. And don't fucking sit here and act as though racism is unique to the UK - the two racist crimes in this video were perpetrated in the US. And something in me suspects that your definition of "free speech" is simply "I can say whatever I want with no consequences"...
I know how scary this can be. I've had a man who is a convicted dangerous sex offender try to get into my house at 4:30am a few weeks ago, then came and knocked at my door at 2:30am a week after that. He told me one time "he liked my dress" while standing on my neighbors porch (but he doesn't live there). It wasn't until I showed the video of him trying to get in to a friend who was previously in law enforcement (who knew who he was) that I found out how dangerous he is. I did report both times to the police, but there's nothing they can do about it because he didn't get in the first time and the second time "he just knocked". They also don't know where he lives and he hasn't updated his registry in over six months. This is why I CCW. ALWAYS.
@@frogee8494 It is scary. The detective I spoke to said to try to pacify him next time without tipping him off, if that can be done safely through the door or something, and call 911 if it happens again. I did find out he has dementia from one of the officers I spoke to, which initially made me feel a little less scared for some reason but my sister said it could actually be worse because they can become more aggressive in the later stages. CCW = concealed carry weapon.
@@NeurodiverJENNtgood on you for taking initiative to carry and protect yourself. We had a guy show up at my office at 11pm (I work nights in a locked office). I obviously didn’t open the door but asked what he wanted through the door, and he said he wanted to buy supplies.. At 11pm. I couldn’t see him through the door, but we have cameras.. after I told him to leave I went back upstairs and watched the surveillance camera back - he had a mask on, with gloves and was holding rope in one hand and a gun in the other. Called the police, gave them a copy of the footage.. they tried to find him but couldn’t. I went and got my LTC after that and now I’m armed every night at work. There’s too many bad people out there just lying in wait. It’s freaking scary.
@@NeurodiverJENNtI'm really glad to see you're carrying and I'm so sorry this man is targeting you. If you have the funds please hire someone to come install a sturdy deadbolt and full length door screws. This will stop the freak from being able to pick or kick your door in. I would also advise some kind of window countermeasure like bars or barbed wire. I know this may sound dramatic but you don't want to take any chances when it seems like this freak has taken an interest in you. Bless you and stay safe.
@@W1Robur we actually did do the longer screws in the deadbolt. Thank you for talking about this, because it's something that not many people know about. However I do know my windows are a weak spot currently. Your suggestions aren't dramatic, they are sound advice. Unfortunately he only tried to see if the door was open the first time. He did not take any dramatic action like trying to kick in the door, But the sad thing is had he done something more dramatic the cops might have been able to take a more actionable approach. Thank you for caring about my safety and believe me my diligence has gone up quite a bit since these last two incidences. Sadly no one knows where he lives right now and I am trying to work with a detective in the sex offender registry department to get a warrant put out for him because he is not complying with sex offender requirements... But even then I'm sure they will just give him a slap on the wrist and let him out again. Which is why when minutes matter and 911 is several minutes away I have to be prepared to be my own self-defense. I hope and pray that never happens, really truly... but as a girl I feel safer having my "safety equalizer" I will look into something for my windows.
It's almost like policing in America originated to collect taxes and catch runaway slaves, now only requires a GED + less training hours than a hairstylist, and was told by the Supreme Court in 2005 that they don't have to protect or serve.
It's the thing I hate about RU-vid blocking predator catches. Putting the predators out there let's the public keep themselves safe and if the police don't like catchers going out there, why not invest some time in dealing with the preds effectively.
Wisconsin resident here. The parade the year following the attack in Waukesha was wildly well attended since justice got slapped down earlier that week iirc. My apartment building had a Christmas party for residents that day and we watched it from our community room. PSA: Waukesha is pronounced like Wah-keh-shaw
They’ll do anything possible to lock you up if you have like a gram of weed but obvious hate/violent crimes with video evidence aren’t the important issues here I guess 🙄
And Wait! How do you BREAK INTO A HOUSE and destroy property and have the charges DROPPED?!?! I swear the justice system in this country is absolute garbage.
@miscellaneousinterests 💯 im from a very 'keep-to-themselves' place in a semi-urban area and those who know others here will be accepted as such but not at random lol. Some people are good actors huh
"Are you sure?" THIS one is why I personally fear doors with glass panes in the middle so much. At any moment that guy could've found a rock or something to throw through the window, bonus roll if he has the intelligence to find a towel or blanket or something somehow to cover the glass, then climb through. 8:35
You know whats sad, he started talking about the dude who drove through a parade, and i thought he was talking about someone else. We should not have multiple people in recent memory driving through parades.
Yeah, some lunatic had a major road rage incident through a parade route in Portland a few weeks ago. I don’t think he killed anyone, but he gave the cops all the evidence they needed to nail him because he had a camera in his truck that filmed his whole rampage
Lol.... the cops completely missed the point.... all they did was say they were aware of how bad the stalker was.... they didn't apologize for completely disregarding their own duty and the horror the families faced.... they should be ashamed and held accountable
You need actions and not assumptions to arrest someone. Words themselves don't cut it most of the time. They are only used when the context of the actions supports it.
I watched most of the Brooks trial and the judge did such a good job. I’ve never seen anyone with such composure, patience, and just overall grace. Even with the mess of the trial, thanks to her and the prosecutors’ hard work, I’d be surprised if he got an appeal
@@truthhurts2879 No, you actually have no idea what you're talking about. That judge did exactly what she needed to in order to give Brooks enough rope to hang himself so he couldn't come back on appeal and claim that he wasn't given a fair trial. The Ring robbery is another reason why I never get personal deliveries. In Poland, we have a "Paczkomat" (package ATM) service, I can just order a package there and pick it up from one of the spots. If I get a package delivered to my door, I'll know it's not mine. If it is though, I'll pretend I'm not home, then the couriers are obligated to give me a notice to pick up the package FOR FREE at the post office or other legitimate spot.
@@BraydenCannonyup, but most people decide to get it delivered straight to there door for a more easier pickup and/or because they dont realize and dont think that their package could/would be stolen.

Highly, highly recommend a doorbell camera, or just a camera in general. Last week my roommates ex girlfriend came to our apartment and smeared dog poop on our windows and cars. She put tape over the doorbell camera but it still caught her and her friend walking up to cover it lmaoo. The cops said the footage is really the only reason my roommate was able to get an emergency order of protection. They wouldn’t have had anything to go off of without it. Owning a camera these days is damn near essential 😭

The racist woman's victims should have called the lical Post Master. My daddy was the local Post Master and at least back then, they took mail theft CRAZY SERIOUSLY. It is (or at least was) a federal offense and they had a branch of what I think was the FBI (could be wrong) that dealt exclusively with mail theft and fraud.
I know this may sound off topic, but i assure you its NOT. If you are designing your home, or have the ability to do some work on your house, make sure your front door opens outwards, and NOT inwords. And theres a few reasons for this. One, and most importantly, its allot harder to kick a door in if the door jam is holding it back. And 2, you can actually slam the door into a given person, once they are in front of it. I know it may seem miniscule, but any little thing can be the difference in these bad situations. As a a construction worker, i always find it strange that we almost always make the doors open into the house.
Most building codes require outside access doors to be framed so they swing out when they open. Especially in commercial buildings, because it’s considered a fire hazard. A lot of people have died in fires in the past because they stampede towards a door that opens swinging inward, and they can’t open it. But yeah, it’s also a good way to add a little more security to your home for free
I guess living in NYC i was taught never open the door ever but for any1 watching... the last story is the exact reason you dnt open the door. Idc if its my package... drop it and leave ill get it later
For the first story, race aside, it's actually disgusting that this guy was on camera doing this shit for months and the cops and the apartment complex literally didn't do anything until she posted it online. This country is literally fucked nowadays.
For the first video it's a good thing cops are around to sit on the side of highways waiting for somone to speed or sit in a parking lot waiting for somone to run a red light instead of taking action against someone breaking a restraining order against someone. Although I guess 40% of them probably understand where the stalker is coming from.
The " are you sure " guy reminds me of the movie The Strangers .. where the mystery lady asks "is Tamara there ?"at the door and when she's told she has the wrong house the mystery lady keeps saying " are you sure ?" It was creepy then and way more creepy in real life 😮😮😮
My family had an insane stalker for somewhere over a decade who would harass and send threatening letters/texts to my family. It took nearly 10 years for police to finally apprehend the man and put him behind bars.
16:39 This one got to me personally. I was the victim of racist bullying often in my early adolescence through my teens, and people will insist it doesn’t happen anymore. Hasn’t happened to me in years, but then we see cases like this ON CAMERA, and police only act because of “pressure from Social Media”!!?
Impersonating law enforcement is one crime I’ll never understand. I couldn’t imagine pretending to be a detective with my friends when I was 19! Thing is a LEO’s job is highly dangerous. That’s one of the many reasons the law has severe penalties for impersonating police.

I'm sure people are panicking and so not thinking clearly, but it always frustrates me when people call a family member or friend first in an emergency instead of the emergency services
in that case the husbands voice is what got him to admit his crimes on video.. he may have confessed his intentions to the police but otherwise he would have just been warned and let go
It's impressive how you've seen all this evidence of law enforcement being incompetent and neglecting (if not outright worsening) the situation in these cases still come to the conclusion that the wife in that "are you sure" video was in the wrong for calling her husband first instead of them. Stay bothered.
I don't know why but the "Are you sure" Guy being charged with giving false informations to a cop because he was claiming he is the holy spirit is so fun to me
if anything, this video has made clear: the police will only do their job as they're supposed to when they're basically cyber-bullied into it, checks out.
A lot of times it's because the DA will refuse to prosecute. Had a guy break the window to my church completely unprovoked, caught on video and he literally just sauntered off - he was still in the area when police got there, literally pointed him out and showed them the video proving it. They said it's pointless to arrest him because the (Portland, OR) DA will not prosecute unless there was violence
3:30 I don't understand how anybody has any faith in the legal system. They reported this guy threatening to kill them with a knife outside their door ON CAMERA. 10 times! At what point do you stop calling the cops? They did nothing the first 9 times. If this guy truly wanted to get into their house, they were goners. Who would be responsible if after 5 months and 9 reportings, he had broken in and harmed them? The police ...for doing absolutely nothing. This is why everybody needs personal protection of some kind. If someone is attacking you, you can call the cops sure... but it'll be about a year before you will be "protected from harm" by the law, if at all.. and yet life can be extinguished in 30 seconds. The timeline doesn't work for me.
10 charges to get the first guy to be noticed. Cops got lazy and didnt care until the lady begged 10 times with evidence. 10 times WITH EVIDENCE. She had to put the man on blast to get them to act!
I think my favorite part of these videos is the stock footage he uses which make these videos look either deranged or outright defangs all seriousness from cases meant to be serious 😂😂😂
It’s honestly insane how a lot of these people didn’t get enough of what they deserve such as not a lot of money or not even dealing with the investigation, but it’s insane how someone broke into the house and shot a 11 year old boy, it’s insane how they went for the boy and not the dad, in my opinion that’s shameful to shoot an 11 year old when you don’t have money only jewelry, they literally offered it twice and the son still got shot, this is shameful what people have come too
