Just discovered you channel. Great videos! I do 2 passes (with the grain, and against the grain) and so a half pass sideways on my neck because I have some growth sideways. Keep up the great work👍🏻👍🏻
On my head shaves I go straight against the grain with 3-5 days of growth and follow that up with a single cleanup pass. Full head shave takes about 15-20 minutes. Everyone's mileage always varies but I wonder if your skin sensitivity has anything to with taking a with the grain pass, 2 cross grain passes, an against the grain pass, and a cleanup pass. That's a lot of razor contact with the skin. Either way thanks for reviewing the shave sticks. I've been looking into them as well. Shave well brother!
Brown Man Shaves awesone im glad you like it! the skin on my head isn't generally as sensitive as my face...Ruds Shaves also goes right against the grain... maybe ill try that and see what happens
I have done the traditional three pass, with the grain then against the grain, cross grain and against the grain, and just against the grain. the most efficient for me with my Merkur Futur is cross grain the against the grain. I am looking to get a couple new razors though and will see what combo of passes works best for them. Thanks for the review!
I never do across the grain. I usually shave every 3 days. Then i do 2 passes. With the grain and against the grain. Shaving More often is to much for my skin. Sometimes i shave once a week and then i just go agains the grain and What i find Interesting Its totally okey for my skin.
