Ty so much for straight forward description. I’m in late menopause ( night sweats) only at times. I also have slight vitiligo creeping up to my nape area- so: I tend to over shower and then realized I had these bumps around my neck and chest! I was so nervous cuz I usually get compliments on my skin- but , I am going to try a gentle healthy scrub , and tea tree oil from a homeopathic store. Also ,…. I knew it was a fungal issue based on my perspiration area…. Booo. I just subscribed and any topic related to aging health is definitely appreciated.

Hello Dr. Jenny I was wondering if you could help me so I have a hydrosol that has Teatree rosemary, geranium lavender and thyme herb all are inherently antifungal however, it has a preservative called lactobacillus ferment. I’m not sure if that is safe for people with fungal issues I deal with sometimes fungal acne, but also SD

Requested Topic: I would like to know more about greying hair. I’ve had strands of grey and grey areas around the temple since my 40’s. I’m now 58. Over the past year, I am seeing my hair get a washboard wave in it. There’s also tons of cowlicks in it too. It’s also thinned noticeably. And it will hold itself off my face in the kind of wave I would associate with having had the portions around my face up in a ponytail. Which I used to love, except now it’s only the small portion around my ears, while the rest hangs flat against my head. It does this even wet and freshly shampooed. My hair is very dry now. My scalp is extremely sensitive and prone to dandruff which I use ketoconazole for a couple times a week.

This is rough because I was using an expired make up regularly, & have been noticing my forehead last week becoming problematic (Got new make up). Unfortunately I’m on doxycycline until May & using tretinoin.. so this seems all very counterproductive. 😭 I have a new issue while trying to treat the other

Why do you say that it isnt really fungal in origin? As you say, it is caused by yeast. Yeast are fungi

How long does fungal acne last left untreated? My mom refuses to take me to see a dermatologist and she refuses to buy anything, she says that it’s better to leave it alone but I’m honestly scared since I’ve had it for months now.

@@camilarojas2936 iv been using head and shoulders and in the middle i can tell there is a slight difference, butttt it takes time. like its fully been 3 weeks and only minimal difference, but try it out and see how it goes!

I have this for like 5 years now... After finding that nizoral can solve this, i bought that and just 3-4 days of using, i got a bad break out.... What do I do... I just want this to gone now... I'm tired
