My wife and I saw him live in Detroit 1 week before everything closed down for Covid. It was our last memory of normal life before masks, media fear, political war, and this strange new world. Couldn't have asked for a better memory. We will carry that show with us for the rest of our lives.

Man, if netflix did a documentary of him talking about his music, how we wrote some songs, and just basically anything I would watch houuuurs of it

It’s brilliant that this man is just starting out on this journey of being recognized! All of us are damn lucky to get to experience this and the many more songs to come! This man is what we need in this world at the most perfect time! Grateful!!!

He is soooo deep, well-spoken,smart & humble. It‘s unbelievable how this guy was literally blessed with everything but still so down to earth. I‘ve never anything bad about him in the media or any scandals. His music is sooo genius that he doesn‘t need any publicity like other artists . For me he is the artist of the Century!!!

My daughter and grandkids introduced me to this very talented musician. We all have been to a few of his concerts together. Family bonding.

Watching this man getting the recognition and respect he so deserves is a beautiful journey to be on. His music resonates with people all over the world, all ages and for a million different reasons. Lyrically he is a poet and musically he draws your ear to listen. I absolutely love every song on Without Fear and that is rare. Can't wait to see him live again but realize its going to be a much bigger venue next time. Wishing Dermot all the success and prosperity as he continues on his musical career journey. 💗🎶🥂🍀

When he talks about set lists and losing the crowd, I saw him years ago in Madison Wisconsin. Total party university, and it IS Wisconsin so yah, everyone had been drinking “Wisconsinably” … I was like 15 years, a husband and 4 kids out of that kind of scene and had driven almost two hours to come see him, I had been listening to him for a good amount of time already and had been waiting for a chance to see him for a long time…. I got a table in the side balcony with my husband, lights go down, he comes out, I’m leaning over the rail a bit on the edge of my seat, waiting to hear his voice sing those deeply felt lyrics I loved that had been coming out of my phone for who knows how long, and it was like no one noticed the show was starting. Like everyone was already too drunk to care. And there I am trying not to hear them while hanging on every note. He was about to start, I think it was “All my friends”, and the man is trying to speak about what the song means for him and he was getting drowned out by the shouting, laughing, people yelling to each other not giving a crap who was even playing and I felt like just running down there, grabbing the mic and yelling “SHUTTTT UPPPPP!” I felt so bad realizing 3/4 of the people there just came to party at a bar with music playing because this was a college town and it was the weekend. So Dermot, that night in Madison, Wi you didn’t lose the crowd and your set list was awesome. Maybe you did at other venues but not that one. You had the misfortune of playing a gig on a weekend in a tiny place with a bar, in the heart of the biggest party university in the state, a state, may I add with a reputation for its high levels of alcohol consumption…. Oh Dermot you never stood a chance. Lol. Just know it wasn’t you…It was them. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But THANK YOU for making the stop! Being a forever fan finally getting to hear you belt it all in person…. Man I had a grin on my face the whole 1 hour and 45 minute ride home. You played a great show

FIFAF is such a powerful song. It’s one of those that the 1st time you hear it, as corny as it sounds.....you know your life has just been changed. It’s gut wrenching. Seeing it live is such a roller coaster. I honestly didn’t wear makeup so I wouldn’t have to worry with it coming off with my tears.

You're such a big inspiration. Love to hear about you being the best authentic version of yourself. It's a big thing I miss with some of my other favorite artists since they became more popular.
