DERON WILLIAMS IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF AN ELITE PG! He has: Size Strength Quickness Range Vision Penetration AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, 10+ ASSISTS EVERY NIGHT!
I'm a Derrick Rose fan. But Williams has the potential to be the best ALL-AROUND PG in the league. Chris Paul is at the top right now. But he has already reached his maximum capabilities. Williams hasn't. Hope he does it with the Nets.
We got a lot more than D-Will bro.. Obviously Deron is arguably the best Guard in the league, but he wanted out and Jazz got a pretty damn good deal out of it.
people needs to give Westbrook his props. he is a hype douche yes but right now imo he is the best PG in terms of scoring and defending right now. 23.5 ppg, 5 reb, 5 asst, 2 blks, 84% from FT whilst putting 35 minutes per game. these are not stats that shud be overlooked. he may not be ure traditional pure PG who makes the most brilliant passes and whatnot but he is definitely the most aggressive scoring one
@GRiMxSG Thanks for having the same thoughts. Too bad D-Will chose the Nets. He could of been better off CURRENTLY if he stays in Utah. But he isn't happy there. Anyways, the Nets will probably get some good players/draft picks to power up their team during the next few years so no worries. :D CP3 has a chance to join Melo and Amare in NY next season and form ANOTHER 'Big 3'. But I hope he doesn't cause the stars should just spread out on different teams to make watching NBA fun. :D
@Alexwkj Yeah... i hope so too, but i don't think he'll be able to do much with the Nets lol. If only he got a stronger team to surround himself around. Same with CP3. I agree that CP3 has reached his potential, but that's still pretty high and he's still young, so hopefully he can keep being on top
i hate when most ppl talk about the best pg in the game they say cp3 rose rondo and westbrook..... imo cp3 is the best then u got rondo but i'll take dwill as third hes wildly unrecognized by a lot of people as being an elite elite pg even though he is one
@sander977 they had no choice. deron wasnt feelin sloan. then sloan retired cuz he was tired of puttin up w/ him. williams was also thinkin of goin to a diff team when he would become a free agent. so the jazz organization didnt want another LBJ situation where they're left w/ nothing. so they traded for whatever they could. sadly enough :(
@GRiMxSG I like Melo. So I hope he gets one, JUST ONE. Lol. The rest belongs to D.Rose and the Chicago Bulls and the Houston Rockets'. Maybe Allen Iverson (My All-Time favorite player) returns and gets one before he retires. :( He really deserves it.
And some people have the audacity to say Westbrook is better than D Will? LOL At his best I'd take D- Will over any PG in the L except maybe Rondo. Paul, Rose, and Westbrook can fall to the back.

@toasteeze you are so fuckin WRONG!! sloan and d will got along great!!. im from slc and i knew where d will lived and i talked to him a few times.. him and sloan had a good relationship. the jazz got rid of him because his contract was alomost over and the jazz wanted to rebuild
