Looking back at this is disappointing. After we lost that series in 2011 we thought for sure by now we'd have a ring. Now Deng and all these pieces are pretty much gone.
We'll be back dude, if not even better. Boozer will be gone finally, so the Bulls can finally have some cap space. If we can build our bench better this off season, and hopefully Carmelo comes to Chicago. We'll definitely have a championship to really be proud of. Not some bought championship.

agreed. if he doesn't change his high impact style of playing, he will never be able to play for long in the NBA. with that said, if they get MELO, that would take the pressure off him.
his career is definitely not over, and he doesn't have to be the player that he was. his game is what made him unique, but he understood what the team needed and what he had to do. he wasn't a true scorer in college. granted he stepped it up when he needed to but he played GREAT TEAM BALL. he has an insanely high basketball IQ and that's what really matters when it comes to decision making, for other players and for himself. besides he won't need to carry us seeing as our team can step it up without him, we just need a go to guy. and next year we are going to have 2
Why? His ACL has been healthy for quite some time and his meniscus wasn't a serious injury, especially since he let it heal naturally. Serj came back from a similar injury and he's as explosive as ever.

Why ppl keep talking about his EXPLOSIVE style of play? Him and WESTBROOK just PLAY the way they PLAY. Its not like they just started playing like that; they been doing it probably since HS...injuries CREEP up on everyone every now and then...Look at G.HILL TMAC IVERSON P.HARDAWAY etc they don't play like DROSE but the injuries f*cked them up still.
How can Iverson not be compared? What is he MJ? I'd take MVP Rose over just about anyone in the league today. Most impressive athleticism i've seen on the basketball court probably ever. Yeah, AI had a better crossover, in that it was a lil more fake you out/quicker, but that's about it. If you watch the highlights of the two, rose/iverson, and your'e not high, you'd actually say DRose is the one who can't be compared.

Hey also scored 60 in a.game, and about over 20 fifty point.games(alot which were in.important playoff games) he also led the league in steaks about 5_6 straight. And no, he's not MJ... but he certainly broke MJs ankles when he was a.rookie. He also beat MJ in their last game together and scored 35 on.him. Iverson was simply amazing ,and only stood 5'10. Show.some respect, D rose is good....but he's no Iverson. And you say MVP like Iverson has never won an MVP. He won MVP, all star game MVP, scoring title, and ended the Lakers 12-0 playoff run in the finals scoring 48 points and beating.them in.game 1 to win that first game. You need to watch some of his games, then you'll understand
I feel like the Meniscus didn't really so anything to him, it was just a caution by the doctor so be bench him for the rest of the season to heal up. D-Rose is ready to play, he just needs to adjust to a new style and be the same 2011 MVP he was.
I love Rose because of his skills, styles and how he put his heart in every single game he play. But i must say that the way he play is much more dangerous for his knee :(.
I don't see his past or recent injury affecting his future. Its all up to him. As long as he's able to do what it takes to get his body and mind where they need to be, then its only a matter of choice on how he wants to play going forward ..... Normal people achieve normal things. This guy is beyond the category we all classify as normal. So IMHO I would watch this space :-)
He WAS amazing. Sad thing is that he will never be the same even though he comes back. The knee is a major issue. But I really hope I'm wrong. Cuz he is very entertaining to watch.
The play sequence at 7:32 gave me goosebumps... how high he jumps to block the ball then one of the quickest spin moves I've ever seen. Anyone else notice how sometimes when he's driving to the hoop he holds the basketball like a running back would hold a football?

I know we all say what if he never git hurt how great he would have been. I can only imagine how he feel ir felt when he couldn't play like his true self anymore after the injury. It's saddening. No matter how much you try to be something you know you are but certain things hold you back from being that.

I miss this Rose. Always attacking, being relentless, playing without fear (of injury). In that 2011 playoff run, the Bulls didn't have enough offensive weapons to create their own shots to help Rose carry the scoring load. Yeah there was Korver for 3, and Boozer in the post, Deng on occasion, but other than that, no one could score. Asik, Noah, Brewer, Gibson, all D, little O. This year though... bruh, if everyone stays healthy throughout , they easily make it to ECF and take it to Game 7 if not NBA Finals.
Man, he made it look so easy abusing Chalmers and every other NBA player. I really hope the Bulls sign good elite players this summer to help Rose. It'll ease off pressure from him wanting to score so much that can possibly cause more injuries. Bulls ranked #1 in defense and last in scoring. Definitely need to go after scorers... Like Melo. We'll see.

How so, they removed both of roy's McL's in both knees!! That's bone on bone, and will only get worse. Rose still has his MCL's and his ACL injury has been healed for almost 2 years now...

You can't tell me that D Rose wasn't the fastest player in the NBA. D Rose was the best player in the league that year. There was plenty of times that LeBron was scared to contest his dunks it's all in dis video. The Miami Cheat cheated the Bulls in the Eastern conference finals like they did OKC in 2012. I don't know what it is but its like the officials won't allow younger players younger than LeBron to beat him players like D Rose KD Westbrook and Paul George. & OKC has 2 young stars. One of his truly special ability was his control. To be able to control that amazing speed , and athleticism. Not so many point guards have that control. Rose was just incredible one of the most exciting players i have ever witnessed. He was only 22 that was never his prime. People label this version of rose prime drose they’re wrong. He was only getting started. Injuries robbed us of his peak prime. we never got see rose prime that’s how good he was.
please correct me if im wrong but i thought boozer was the bulls tumor ... shot under 50% from FG and doesnt play no D i liked luol dueng but at times he was inconsistent but his defense was outstanding... Rose isnt the tumor cause of his ability to penetrate and give players their shot which make things easier...except for boozer although boozer is a good player
He was easily a top 3 player in his MVP year. Potential to be the greatest PG of all time, the way he could change his shot, shoot off the dribble, get his team involved and make clutch shots separated him from nearly every other player in the league. As I just read, he is very similar to 2006 Wade but he seemed to be a little better. With his play style, no wonder he's injured.
Now we have to understand that this guy may not play like the way he did....not even close, but still he outrun most of players in NBA after three surgeries... how sick it is......think about it

Rose is never gonna play like this again... He has 2 really bad knees and his constantly in the hospital meaning that rose doesn't get enough practice.
