A behind the scenes mentioned that Mitchell Hope, who played Ben, hadn't really danced ever before the movie, but when they had him do Did I Mention?, he immediately let loose. Also, VKs stands for Villain Kids. They'll use that term a lot in the next movie

There was a deleted scene where Mal sings a reprise of if only after her Evie, Jay, and Carlos have that sweet talk on the grass and I’m still a bit upset that it was deleted. Good thing that this movie ate, but I have to go on RU-vid every time that scene ends😪.

I found Descendants in 2019 after going through both HSM and Camp Rock phases when I was younger (the "normal" age to like Disney Channel) and I stan for Descendants harder now at 21 than any other Disney Channel movie series in my lifetime, It's that good!

A lot of these DCOMs have been guilty pleasures for me in past years and this series is at the top of the list. Descendants 2 is the only one I have actually bought. Soundtrack and Costume, D3 owned it... But when it comes to the plot, I'd say D2... I think most of the character development happened in this movie... Jay's showing his support to his friends and looking out for them like a big brother... I love the Descendants movies. I crank their music in my car with the windows rolled down even when my 12 year old isn't in the car 😂 After you do D3, react to the Disney ZOMBIES movies. Nice reactions to this film, Rebecca!👏Mal does have her hair up in the beginning of the film, so you can't see her purple hair. I think you might enjoy Sofia Carson (Evie) starring in the film " A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits" (2016). The film has a Disney feel to it.
