excellent!! wouldve loved to hear the tap out of the board but il take it! in the 80's the Descendents and the jerks played together for like 3 shows in one week at the same spot. was an amazing week! long live the day
I saw the Descendents after high school in the 90s and I remember thinking that I was glad I got to see them before they got too old. Didn't realize I would have another 25 years to catch a show.
Great set, glad to see so many songs from Milo goes to college and Bonus Fat, also Sour Grapes is a great touch. Stephen looks kinda weird with a hat but not bad
Thanks for filming and posting this!! For what it's worth, Coffee Mug actually starts at 39:51. I saw the timestamp and was like 'a minute and a half, did they do an extended jam?!?' :p
I saw them live in Philadelphia with Rise Against last summer. Met an awesome girl there whose number I forgot to ask for. Still the best night of my life tho.
I wasnt at this show but no loss, they didnt play their best song. They werent afraid to play I'm Not a Loser back in the 80s when I saw them 5 times. THAT was the Descendents!
@@BrodyCox I'm a fan of The Descendents from the 80s. Not a fan of the reformed Descendents. I've seen the new version live snd they cant hold a candle to the old line up with Tony Lombardo. Only a new poseur fan would call out an OG fan.
@@coldkissofsteel I mean, rad that you got to see them, but not everyone was able to see the descendants before 1985 so not sure why it's necessary to look down on people who watch them now.
@@teeveeparty I'm looking down on them because they refuse to play their best song. You dont feel the same way about the lyrics you wrote 40 years ago? Change them. Dont try to pretend the song doesnt exist and that you didnt used to be homophobic. Most people were homophobic in the 80's but we evolved and realized we were wrong. So change the lyrics to reflect that.
