Hi Lucy! you made me giggle when you explained about " Vertically challenged" since my country is really common to say like type of things to others..Just with a tone more creepily hilarious like " Hey, floor lump!" Pd: Hello from Colombia 😁🙃
You have a perfect teacher who is devoted to her students and provides efficient content regularly. Extra benefit : she has a mesmerizing voice. Worth listening to her... 😇😇😇
Hey Lucy! I love your videos, they're always really helpful. Which is why I would really appreciate if you could make a video about concrete and abstract nouns, because it's a new topic for me and I feel like It could help me a LOT! Thank you so much!!
Thank You,Lucy!💐Now i've just learnt to describe my appearance in such a few words: I am a vertically challenged person with a pale complection and a golden blonde natural curly hair .
I love this lesson of you Lucy Describing physical appearance in C1 Level English. I want to learn all those words Lucy in the paragraph you read. I love all your lessons Lucy
I appreciate your videos so much. And with this one, I have learnt the most beautiful, tender word ever: sun-kissed. How cute is that!! What I also appreciate (and I am always waiting for it, when you say "lovely students". 😊 I think it's nice to be addressed as a lovely student, even though I'm over 60. I feel valued. Thank you so much for your videos, beautiful teacher! ❤ Greetings from Switzerland.
I really love your videos! When I was at my first course in university our phonetic teacher gave us one of your videos to make “shadowing” task. It was video about British people oddities and we needed to copy your pronunciation, make same assimilations and pauses. So since that day you’re one of my favourite blogger PS I failed that task 😅
Haha. I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards. In fact I once was;my pony had escaped... and the description is very very accurate indeed in the end. Which makes me wonder about common phrases. "I nipped to the shops." A term in regular use - "I look like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards." A little too regular. How many of us own a pony then?! a few
The 15th word 'salt-and-pepper is the same as Vietnamese phrase 'muối tiêu'. Actually we do not use 'and' since we also have a kind ò seasoning with the same name, which is used to flavor for boiled eggs or even fruit.
My friend has an amazing apperansce She is much older then me, but the most interesting thnig in her charecter and appiriance is that, she has a quality When she smile or talking about something she has that good energy that atracts me And i have noteced that her face in such moments change its shining with kindness and good inspiration and mood And only when her eyes close i notice her age and that she maybe extremlly tired But in a different time i think that she is an example of that sovetic generation that i d like to be cos they have something that helped them see the good side in all things and maybe understand that life better than our generation They can know the world but be suprizeed by it like a children and be beautiful inside not only in apperiance Maybe thats why i dont feel her age
