I had a rescue that I think was a Belgian Malinois (shelter said GSD). She would get my hand in her mouth and hold it sometimes she would lightly "bite" just enough to barely feel the pressure change.

A K9 handler from Thames valley police got caught out by a Belgian malinois. He had handled German Shepherds for over 18 years, so not inexperienced; he was handling this malinois for a few weeks while her handler was on holiday. Whilst searching for a burglary suspect;he let the dog off the long line to use the bathroom while he and the other officers discussed the next phase of the search. Suddenly, her head went up,she barked and sprinted off. The suspect emerged and she saw him. The officer could only get out "Police officer with a dog! Stand still! Before the dog had bitten a butt cheek. The only thing the officer could say as he and his colleagues sprinted towards where the suspect and dog were was "oooh, shit!" After the suspect was handcuffed and cautioned,he didn't give the command "Leave"before pulling her off and got a bite to his crotch.
