A brief description of Multifunction Handle used in select Maxxum, all Puma, all Magnum and all Steiger series of tractors utilizing the Global Arm Rest Unit (GARU).
Is there a way to turn the EOR button on at 2018 Magnum 310CVT into engage autosteer button? Autosteer is being controlled by a Trimble TMX2050. It appears that's possible with a Pro700 controlling the autosteer, but not with a Trimble TMX2050. I'm not a fan of using the EOR because you can't push the bottom more than once in a short period of time due to the programed pause and the EOR also makes a really annoying beep sound.
The beauty of the CVT is like driving your truck or car. You go to a speed limit while on the roads, not a gear and rpm. The same applies for the tractor. If you want to go 5.0 mph, you can achieve that by pushing the handle all the way forward. If you want a headland speed of 3.0 mph, then you drop the set point down and the tractor will drop to 3.0 mph.
The owners manual will tell you based on tractor type. Maxxums and Pumas are different than Magnums and Steigers. It is all related to park brake type.
It seems with all the tech in modern tractors between the CASE AFS and multi control arm and CVT vs JD and itek systems you almost need a collage degree in engineering and agriculture to run these &#*$^ ing cool machines lol.
