Tbh ima have to completely disagree, I think an immediate rematch would be completely undeserved… Izzy lost 2 out of his last 3 fights and lost this fight in CONVINCING fashion. It’d wouldn’t be fair at all in my opinion… but the UFC will probably give it to him anyway because obviously they’d much rather Izzy as the champ than Strickland.

Let’s be clear, Izzy wasn’t “off” or had a “bad night”… well he was, but because Sean MADE him “off” and have a “bad night”. Lol Just felt the need to clarify this due to the amount of people I’ve seen who attribute Izzy’s loss to him “being off” as opposed to Sean just out striking him and just overall beating him. Sean made him look off!

Sean Strickland took that shit. You can tell Sean's smart because right after he lost to Pereira, he became friends with him and went to train with him and learn more about striking. That take's balls, I love the dude. He's great for the sport.

Sean didnt give Izzy room to work. He allways pressured him, had him goin backwards. That, together with Sean best espect, his eyes, made him school Izzy. Pressure + saw everything coming what Izzy had.

We can see the difference between izzy and pereira . Pereira didnt allow strickland to put pressure on him by using body jab and calf kick to set up left hook. Alex pereira never back up like adesanya here. He need to be more offensive and stop relying on counter punch
