@@stephenlawrence554 I don't know what kind of .44 magnum revolvers you're talking about. Maybe a piece of shit Taurus will be cheap? With that being said if I were to buy another .44 magnum gun other than my desert eagle it would be the smith 629. When I got my desert eagle I specifically avoided the .50 AE, not because of recoil but simply due to the economics and availability of .44 magnum compared to .50 AE. I mean I think the Desert Eagle is the only gun chambered in .50 AE and that alone should tell you about the popularity and availability of that caliber. I haven't had any major malfunctions with my Desert Eagle except magazine related ones. So if I was hiking through the woods in bear country I wouldn't have any arguments about carrying a .44 magnum desert eagle for bear defense as long as I have newer factory mags in the gun.
Have you tried it before? Let me say, the design is awesome, the only negative aspect I see is the recoil, too much actually. What abput the power? That can destroy almost anything.
@@pvb7837 if you say that this gun has too much recoil, you should look at S&W 500 though idk if that one has bigger recoil or not (never even held a gun before)
@@55Quirll Yep, only in the 90's could a deadbeat robber be wielding a Desert Eagle to rob a 2-bit gas station. The dude would have made more money selling the gun, LMFAO
This is my favorite "hand cannon". While the S&W M500 is nice, I feel like the Deagle-Bird is just easier to wield. It's still a ridiculously huge gun, but it sure is beautiful.
But you won't shoot it one handed unless you want it to fly up and to the left or smack you in the face. They require a firm grip to function properly so they don't jam.
Ive had this EXACT desert eagle for over a year now, and every time I take it to the range it feels like the first time I ever unboxed it, truly a masterpiece
@@chrispinellas1634 that sounds awesome, I’ve always been interested in guns since I was a little boy… although, I should’ve rephrased my question. I admit I was unclear on what I wanted and I apologize. What are the specifics of the gun, what brand, where to get, etc?
@@KRIEG117sorry to get back to you so late lol but I purchased mine at a gun show for about $2800 after taxes, it’s this same exact one. Stainless steel, 50 caliber, it’s made by magnum research in America, and it is more than just a gun… It is an absolute legendary masterpiece. I’d advise you to either go purchase one IMMEDIATELY at your next gun show. It doesn’t have to be this exact one they have plenty different colors and calibers, I just preferred stainless steel gold was too expensive lol and I wanted to have the 50 caliber one the most powerful. If they don’t have gun shows in your city/state order one online, save up and get one if you don’t have the funds I am telling you that it will be your best investment in life !!
While driving around an outdoor range at Los Vegas, I stopped to watch a couple of guys flinching behind a D Eagle 50. The owner was quite friendly and asked me if I would like to give it a try. Even then, having had a bad experience with a Ruger super Blackhawk , I said sure. He offered me a full mag. I said three rounds would be enough. When I picked up the Canon I thought it would be smarter if I wore Safely glasses. When I shot the Ruger 44mag I held it with two hands. That reduced the distance to my head and the recoil with one hand would pivoted up, not straight back at my head as what happened with the Ruger. OK, I picked up the artillery aimed at the target about ten yards away. Every fired case came back and hit me in the face on the bridge of the nose. Thankfully I had on the glasses. That being the case I flinched. I asked if I hit anything? The owner said I hit the target. He and his friend hadn't done that. This happened more than six years ago.
Say what you want about the desert eagle, but even all the glock lovers out there have got to admit that the plastic beast doesn’t hold a candle to this beauty.
