There should be some play in the magazine, the manual states the mags are designed to "free float" in the grip, which is why they say to not use a tea cup grip when shooting because it applies upward pressure on the magazine and it'll press into the bolt, you smashing the magazine up into the pistol is causing the magazine to over insert and thus you are having issues
i do want to keep my black. 50ae but im thinking of taking it to a local Cerakote applicator to get it done cuz the factory black oxide finish is very thin and the brass leaves marks on the top of the slide when it ejects
Not only that, but you aren't supposed to jam in the mags on these. Just press firmly and it's good to go. It made me cringe when he kept smashing on it...
What did you do to fix that issue because I have 2 mags 1 mag is easy insert and doesn’t get caught on the slide release but it doesn’t drop out the magwell freely the other mag I can hit it to insert it but it gets caught on the bolt and that one does drop freely I did just have both mags and the firearm cerakoted
All I buy are cannons. I have a Desert Eagle in .44/50AE, SW PERFORMANCE CENTER .460 and a SW PERFORMANCE CENTER .500 I absolutely hate the gold colored Desert Eagles, keeping mine black.
I had mine cerakoted tungsten ASAP. Would recommend. Also, if you want to avoid some of the charges for assembly/disassembly from your applicator, check out IWestexI on youtube, i lended him my DE and he has full assembly/disassembly videos in a nice and easily understandable fashion.
I'm thinking of getting one of these in 357 L5 because its smaller and I have smaller hands. I own an HK p30 and I love everything about it, it's very comfortable and perfect. I've been wanting a hk45 but now after researching the magnum research DE 357 is larger more powerful than 45. The reviews i have read about them jamming and etc. throws me off, some say its because ppl arent aiming or holding it correctly. so any tips or ideas, recommendations ?? thanks
If you're not going to get 50 AE, don't bother. These are meant to be ostentatious showpieces. If you want a .357 gun for any practical purpose, there are a million better guns.
Depending upon where you live, many states you don't have to register your guns and you can buy them, from private sales, like gunshows, sites like armslist.com, or such. If the gun is required to be registered you need to buy the gun at a gun dealer, or if you buy it over the interent or places like , gunbroker then you need to buy it then the dealer ships it to the FFL gun dealer in your city/state then you pick it up from the store. either way any gun bought in another state if it is shipped to you needs to be shipped to a gun dealer, then you pick it up there. like I said some states like GA or FL you can buy the gun at gunshows from private sales, or from the newspaper or online gun sites in the same state as you., then jusy pick the gun up and pay the cash to the private owner. Like Your buying a car from someone in the paper,
