I’d also add that the Magnum research eagles have metallurgy issues. They don’t seem to have any heat treatment done to them. For example, both my slide stop notch and the slide stop itself rounded off and would no longer lock open. I was able to reshape both with a steel file. And the file cut right the the parts as if they were completely soft steel. Heat treated steel usually requires diamond or carbide files to cut it.
Amazing gun, my dad did owned the MK1 .357 that he got in the late 80s, but please every time your finger got close or on the trigger i get nervous. its just he drilled trigger etiquette hard into me and by brothers souls
