Love the soothing colors you choose, Christine! I've found myself leaning more toward water colors since the beginning of the year. Began the project last November when we remodeled 1/2 our basement (bar/game room) into a music studio for my husband and a library for myself. Our home before was earth colors: browns, greens, terra cotta. After living with it for almost 18 years, it just felt heavy. When I chose colors for the basement remodel, I found myself picking very soothing whites and adding dark blues, teals and sea glass blue/green as accents. Slowly transforming the whole house with tones of whites. And while I'm not done, it's transforming and sure is becoming a much needed peaceful retreat compared to world issues. As far as the food budget, our household takes a huge chunk of the budget. Completely 100% GF and I'm DF, mind you there are 2 teen boys, we eat mostly natural whole foods, our budget is 500-600 every 2 weeks. + our oldest goes out with friends alot since mom doesn't buy fast food (lol!), but that's on him. GF is not cheap, and I wish our growing season in northern MN was longer. I'm still waiting for most of my harvest to come in so I can can salsas and tomato sauces. Hoping by August I'll be good to go. Just love your videos and look forward to them popping up in my feed. Hope you're having a beautiful day! Love from MN ~

I love your videos. They are so different from the others I watch. I really like the plant ones. We moved to SW Florida and im trying to learn what to grow down there. My husband and I spend between $150-$170 a week on groceries, sometime more and sometimes less but that seems to be the average. I include all cleaning supplies, vitamins, toiletries and paper products in that budget. We shop at Walmart but we live in a resort area so there are not a lot of tiger cost effective options. When I buy more processed junk food I can often save more money but I eat a ton of veggies and fruit and it’s worth it to me. Great vlog!

Beautiful cactus plant Christine, the pot looks great. We have a cactus plant that we brought from Europe in the moving crates in 1978, it survived many moving times here in the USA. It is now almost 7 feet high after all these years. But the next few weeks we have to dig it up again and it is going to its new home that we are moving too, but just I mile away. So we will see how the plant will do in the new garden. Hopefully it will survive. Thanks for the video, interesting.

Happy Fourth Christine🇺🇸. We try to stick between 50-100 a week for a family of four vegan and gluten free. The highest 240 a week. I had created a menu plan that cuts way back time spent in the kitchen. I do create a menu plan that based on nourishing and filling meals. Our normal staple Double recipe on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We have soup, fruit and salad Monday-Friday. Dinners may be veggie spaghetti, Vegan Shepard’s pie, quesadillas, ramen bowls.Thursday and Saturday tacos. Breakfast is oatmeal, yogurt and smoothies. Lot’s of water. Kids favorite treat pumpkin oatmeal Breakfast cookies. Lots. Lots of water of course.......I do Pinterest and look up vegan budget meals. Seen so many great ideas. So my family picks one meal each week and we rotate. 😀

How Micheal bought that wood for the lizzards reminds me of my dad with my yorkies. It makes me think Michael would really enjoy a yorkshire terrier. We got two from a lady in Stafford, AZ. They are the most loveable, smartest, loyal dogs ever, and they are hypo allergenic. My one yorkie curls up on my shoulder for hugs. Plus you guys would do great with a dog. You’re so good at taking care of plants and your house.

I absolutely love your taste. I find painting terracotta and stone pots really therapeutic. They also look so much better against the green plants or on their own. Really enjoyed this vlog, 🙏 Also that wood would make a lovely lamp base with a linen shade.

Love your videos! My hubby and I spent about $300 today on groceries. We are vegan but buy for 4 cats and a dog. Normally for just us about $200 a week. The vegan items are very high and no good sells lately. Pets are a lot extra buying natural foods keeps them healthier.
