I don’t hate America or anything, but we were not the good guys by any means, especially during our occupation of Iraq, Abu Ghraib prison, the targeting of civilian infrastructure during the initial invasion such as schools, and hospitals, leading to a lawless humanitarian crisis in some of the cities, that weren’t fixed for a long time, using American contractors for labor in the region, vs hiring locals, causing mass unemployment, I will admit Saddam had no right to really invade Kuwait even if they were tapping Iraqi oil reserves, but the American response was most definitely not justified by any means, American only invaded Iraq under the guise of liberating Kuwait, in reality Iraq simply threatened American financial interests. also on top of that many of the atrocities that occurred in Abu Ghraib prison and across Iraq went unpunished. But do not blame American service members, blame American politicians.

United States, good guys? Ehhh, debatable. But the Iraqis weren't good either.
