Haha I am Gujarati and My parents are complete Desi on Health I have a fever, they say Drink Kadha, i have runny nose, they give me Vicks, i have a headache, they tell me to drink Lemonade, I have a cough, they tell me to drink like desi soup with tomatoes and chillies, i have a cold, they tell me to inhale steam from boiled water with Vicks mixed in it in a patila (Big steel Bowl) and i am like "Da Faq"

As an Asian guy from SEA, I am finding these things very comically relatable.

I had strep throat once and an Indian neighbor brought me this concoction of honey, garlic, ginger, hot chili’s, and something else i’m not sure of (lol). I took it because I figured it was impolite not to, and I’ll be fucking damned if my throat didn’t feel 100x better for the rest of the day! Worked better than any numbing throat spray.
