hi sir, may i know how the PWM works? if we calculate the duty cycle value, we will get the numbers. but then how do we know the product of PWM is the same with the calculated duty cycle? as i can see in the video, u use battery current.. bit confusing and still learning, hope u can help
Hi thank you for your comment, The PWM is determined by the switching frequency and period, which is the same used to calculate in general the Duty cycle. I think you should just be sure about your calculation which should be the same with simulation.
@@pzengineering2020 then, i need to make sure my battery current needs to be constant in one value only? because I know if the current is sinusoidal the PWM output would have an irregular pulse
How come output of voltage controller circuit a current??, You have considered output of voltage controller as Iref right? I didn't understand that, voltage controller gives an voltage as output right? Plzz help me
Thanks for the video sir, it was very useful...but I wonder how can we calculate the L, C, and R of the circuit...I watched the previous videos, but the circuit was different in those tutorials...
Hi PZ Engineering Hope you’re doing well. I have some confusion over your control circuitry, can you please make it clear. First, you have compared 13 and 12 with Ilib_ref in your controllers, why is that so? As for my understanding, 13 and 12 are the voltage values. How do you compared voltage with current? Can you please rectify your circuit?
Hello thank you for your comment, In my control, the main focus was to have a reference current. Was more about discharging and charging reference current. at 13 suppose to be voltage not current. Will rectify in the next videos. However, I hope you got the idea
Thank you for this helping video I have a question . can this bidirectional boost the voltage from 383 v to 1014 or it's impossible ? I need all the parameters please
Hello, Thank you for your comment .. We are not comparing current and voltage, what we are doing is to compare Vbat vs Vref connected to PI Controller in order to generate the reference current. We are more focussed in generating reference current. I hope it's clear and you are more welcome to ask... Regards
The battery nominal voltage an rated capacity do not need to calculate, unless you are sizing battery energy storage system for a specific load. Can you elaborate your question
Hi, can you post a video on a hybrid energy storage system with battery, supercapacitor, and fuel cell for the electric vehicles along with the energy management system?
@pzengineering2020 what component did you use between the resistor and the dc voltage source where you fed the constant 1 and 0 for charging and discharging? I didnt find it in the library. Its really really urgent. Please help me in this asap. Thank you
Helo, Thank you for your comment, You can see the formula in one of our previous videos to calculate the minimum parameters value here is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AEBw1WIEfmI.html
Can we charge the battery with higher voltage supply?? We are using A Bidirectional Buck Boost, it should reduce the voltage level in opposite direction
helo, thank you for your comment, The battery normally needs to be charge with a slightly higher voltage. We need to be aware, we should not charge battery with very high voltage, it will damage the battery, consequently reduce it's lifespan. the use of buck and boost is the solution to reduce the high voltage to a slightly high voltage to charge the battery.
Thank you for the video, can this model be used for two batteries (for bidirectional charger)? Also, can you please send me the documents if that's possible?
@@pzengineering2020 Sir, my research topic is integrated single phase bidirectional PHEV battery charger. This battery charger two parts AC/DC full bridge boost converter cascade by Dual Bridge series resonant converter....
