Cool designs. I love this kind of workflow, but I struggle with silhouette, despite wanting to have as a skill. I suppose this could also be a great practice for the mechanics of silhouette too!

Relyt, how do you enjoy starting your pieces off more? With lines or with shapes? I'm kinda starting to hate line sketches. It just doesn't feel nice. But starting off with shapes feels so much harder. Any advice on how to learn more about shape sketching and building pieces off from there? Thanks.

i get that this is 100% exploration, but i don't like to arrive at designs by pure luck, like you did in the second character with the crossed arms... or did you envision that from the start, when you were drawing the silhouette?
