Sir at 24:21 you have increase the d value from 170mm to 400mm by saying that it'll not satisfy the shear condition...but itna jyada increase Karna ,to phir itna jyada calculation Ka kya fyada...must reply.

I think load acts more near or on the footing, So critical depth can be calculated by considering length from the center of the footing plus twice the depth of footing for two way shear

Correction: The upward pressure of foundation bed that produces bending moment, don't include the weight of the column footing. Only the load of the column is being considered, po=Column load/B2 =600/2.4x2.4m=
