I love the mini bag trend so much that I sold my iPhone 11 & bought an iPhone 12 mini. I do not regret that decision. I love the mini phone and can’t go back to a big phone. Plus I know it will fit in my mini bags with room to spare for other items
Hi Stella- I’ve created a Pinterest board to track my bags. I either upload my own pics or find pics of my bags in Pinterest. It’s similar to your list, but with pictures. 😀As I sell bags, I delete the pics from the board
Oh my god I thought I was the only one who keeps a running list of my handbags on my phone! It helps so much if you’re trying to sell any. I also try to keep track of how often I use each one so I can see if there are any that just aren’t serving a purpose and could find a better home.
I’m the same way! I’ve had great perfect bags that are beautiful BUT I didn’t use them or see myself using them after quarantine. So I sold them as well!
I parted with quite a few bags already in 2021! All LV...the Trevi GM, Noe, Odeon PM, Metis Hobo, and the NeoNoe! As you said, I have no room in my collection for bags that give me ANY sort of frustration. These all drove me nuts for different reasons other than the Odeon...that is just a perfect crossbody bag, but I never reached for it. Felt good to purge!
I agree with you about the GG marmont collection. I just sold my nude camera bag style that I bought in Paris but only used a handful of times. The style seems too trendy (now out of trend) and a bit too “youthful” for me (now on the other side of 35 👵🏽 lol). And, my motto for 2020 is “workin for a Birkin”...also made it my husbands motto 💁🏻♀️

I have had horrible luck with Target bags even the pricier special collection ones. My hubby bought a $70 Target bag from one of the special designer collections about 10 years ago and I loved it but after 3 months of daily wear it fell apart. I have Coach bags that I got great prices on during sales that are heading towards 20 years of wear. Low end bags don’t hold up so cost per wear is stupid high.

Go for another one on your list first,while it is beautiful,it gets ruined very very quickly,the patchwork gets frayed after a couple of wears, although it is beautiful to look at on a shelf.

Thanks for sharing. Thinking for a few months now of selling my LV World Tour NF. Just keep heming and hawing. It’s a great bag but it’s not as versatile as another tote I have. Feel like it’s time to part ways, then I think oh no it’s a Louis! So on goes my hesitant ways.
You can get a slip stopper for a bag strap if it tends to slip off. It's like a rubber-y type tape you put on the inside of the strap and it keeps your bag on your shoulder. What color Birkin did you order? 😉
I really want the heart shape bag from the Game On collection! I got the vanity and I love it. I also think I will be selling some of my neverfull, I have 4 of them and they have not been used in a while.
I been cleaning my handbag collection but sometimes is hard I have 2 Polene nano almost brand new I barely used them but Fashionphile doesn’t buy Polene. I never sold anything through any other site only Fashionphile and I don’t want to go through all the pain of EBay and all those pre loved site. Do you know any other good site that buys from sellers.
I have a dilemma about selling my Speedy 30. Its so cute but it rains and snows here in Toronto and I find myself always worried about the weather when taking it out. I also think it’s inconvenient to hold without a strap so that may be why I haven’t worn it in so long. Before I got it I was debating between the Neverfull in Damier Ebene or the Speedy but got the Speedy mostly because it was cheaper, but now I regret I didn’t just pay a few hundred more to get the Neverfull 😔 I would have worn that thing to death and not worried about the weather or lack of straps. I love the Monogram print but I don’t think untreated leather is for me 😬 I got some hand sanitizer splatters on it recently and it stresses me out how the straps may look years from now. The only thing is, I got it from my husband for our anniversary 😭

I am contemplating to use it as a ‘handbag’ as I like the vanity trend but don’t think that it is a trend that is going to stay so don’t wish to invest heavily in it. Why influencers don't wait a bit longer before rewiewing their bags? Because it's always great bags but they sell them not long after. I am not talking about Stella specifically but big influencers in general. The reasons they are selling are also important as the reasons they purchase them. My comment is not a "hate" comment, I just want to understand this process.

It is a great bag! Enjoy it! I still love it but I just needed to downsize my collection. I was also totally on the fence about that bag and who knows I might buy it again.

My white small Gucci Marmont, just bought it and still within the return policy. Just not sure I’m going to use it and I’ve seen how they’ve worn in not a good way. Contemplating returning to save up for something else. I had a lady Dior in the new medium style but I just can’t justify the $5400. What are your thoughts on the Lady Dior? It’s beautiful but it’s another bag that doesn’t seem to hold it shape? would love to find one on the pre-loved market in good condition. I also like the Dior Caro, I want to exchange it for another color and the bag that they had sitting in the store was in really bad condition it was on the shelf and I already lost shape was totally disfigured. She said she could order another one. The associate said well you’re Gucci marmont will wind up the same way I said yes but that is $1500 as opposed to $5400.
Hey Stella help me out 😁. I don’t know if I should sell my Chanel 2.55 in 226 size black with ruthenium hardware. It is my dream bag but I don’t have anywhere to wear it. I live in Ohio suburbs where only once and a while I’ll see LV bags and I’ve only seen one Chanel in the wild. Can’t wear it to work. For fun I go to Target. Our personal businesses are agricultural in nature and hubby get irritated when I bring a lv bag into the farm truck so Chanel is a no lol. I love looking at the bag. I take it out of the box and play with it but back in the box it goes. Should I sell it? Hubby bought it for me for Christmas so I guess I could use the money to make our vacation this month better. I think I’d miss the bag but should I keep a bag I probably won’t wear?
Do you get good quotes from fashionphile? I feel like sometimes their quotes are so insulting for what they offer for a bag even when it’s something popular and fast selling on their website.
