Back in 1969 Waddingtons sold a game called "Blast Off", you started on Earth and manoeuvred to land on other Planets. It looked great but was absolutely awful to play. Started a lifelong hobby of buying games then struggling to play them.
I was able to playtest Liftoff on his way to WBC, and it was an amazing simulation of the space race. You name it, it's included; considering all the detail, it played pretty smoothly. Not a quick game. If you're a Space Geek, you want this game.
Dang it! You just added another insta-order to my list. BTW, can we sign up somewhere to be notified when it hits Kickstarter? BTW2: I think I saw Marooned when I was in grade school. My Mom took me and my sister along with a friend and her three kids to see Snoopy Come Home at a drive-in. Then when Marooned came on after Snoopy, we space-crazy kids talked them into staying for it.
