5 years I've been making logos.. it's taken me this long to find out you can edit outlines like that with the pencil tool. WHAT. that's incredible hahah

I'd be interested to see a video where you show your struggles in the design process, being stuck, etc. and how your work through that, I think it would be helpful to show. As a professional graphic designer myself the design process for me is rarely straightforward and easy, there are limitations and challenges along the way. Love your videos :)

I agree. I think your videos are great but it's created an unrealistic expectation for myself in terms of the design process, as if I'm JUST SUPPOSED to have it all figured out lmao. But this was such a great video yet again and am so grateful I came across your channel.

@@swoosh3684 Yes I can for sure see that, obviously everything is streamlined and a lot smoother then it may be in real life because it's a video and it needs to be quick and fast paced to keep viewers watching. I do have a video coming out in the future about what I do when I'm in a creative rut and struggling for ideas, so hopefully that can show a different side and help some people! I totally agree that design isn't always so straightforward and I also would love to see a video where Abi shows some struggles and how she deals with them, but for me the reason why I love her videos so much is that they've shown me that it's okay to be proud of what you do (especially someone who struggles with Imposter Syndrome). Even if it's not the most perfect thing in the world, it's okay to just have fun with it :) Thank you, Abi!

The tip with the art brush for your custom font is pure gold!! I was struggling with the exact same thing yesterday and ended up using the Perspective-> Warp Tool and guiding circles trying to get it all lined up. Thanks for the tip, this is great advice and thank you for your videos, they are so enjoyable to watch and inspiring.

Damn, you're incredible!! I love your energy and how confident & enthusiast you are 🥺 And those characters are so freaking cute! I'm wondering how long did it take you to do all that? (I mean between starting the logo, and sending your brand proposal to the client) I'm still new at creating brand identity but it takes me so long to figure out the direction I want to take.. and finding the good mockups is such a struggle 😂🙈

Aww thank you so much😊So this took me about 2 days, but this is for a video so normally that means it's shorter then what it would be if it was a client. I think for you just experiment and see how long it takes, it's always going to take longer at the start, but I think it's good to have some time management for example, spend 1 hour researching then move onto the next stage etc. otherwise you can end up overthinking and spending ages just on one stage of the process. I have a video coming out within the next week weeks that goes through the whole branding process so that might help you! 😊💛

This is amazing! You’re incredible at what you do, I love seeing how confident you are with your design choices and your Illustrator skills are perfection! I do have a question! Hopefully for a future video or post, what type of files do you exactly deliver to the client? Aside from a branding guide, do you deliver the branding assets as PDF, JPG or SVG? Not knowing exactly where the client might take the design (like print or digital use) what is the best format of delivery? Especially for like a business card where the client might want to change contact info to fit their needs and wanting to provide them with all the flexibility. Anyway, long question but hopefully you’re able to talk about it if possible. Thank you again for what you do! I enjoy your content :-)
