Tips i learned: 1. To create efficient bus lines, place the first stop at the hub, and then another in the furthest place (instead of actually build the intermediate stops right away). 2. Creating a zone for a "standing out" building that filled with low-stories buildings to emphasis the main building itself. As always, great job, T4rget.

@@charlienorthover1702 That way you don't make the bus make unnecessary turns. Especially left turns are bad for busses.

maybe a regional train network would be better suited for the long distances between the different areas? then the busses could complement the train network as a local service

I agree. This is the basic way of connecting the city. Buses are to compliment, not to cover long distances.

This is beautiful. I do feel that perhaps the area isn't utilized much. There's too many roads and paths for too few zoned areas, some aren't even high density. Aesthetically though, it's definitely gorgeous. I love it!

First I want to say your channel is my favorite City Skylines creator channel. My tip for the buses clogging when you assign routes is to simply go to each individual route and reduce usage from 100% to 75%. T4rget your builds are genius. I spend an awful amount of time studying the care you take with each design. KUDOS!

As always, amazing build... I would have two bus stops on each side of the road so passengers could go home where they came from. I love the colour of the busses match the colour of the expo-center

Expo centers and shuttle busses go together like peanutbutter and jelly. A bus hub by one makes excellent sense.

I think you forgot bus lines running in the opposite way, unless its a one way trip for everyone :) And you may have to many buses on your lines by default its usually overkill..

I had a glitch happen to me when playing this map that looks very similar to what you're looking at. The industrial demand just broke. It wasn't just low, it was gone. Didn't matter how much residential I built. Industrial demand just flatlined and never came back.

In Berlin, the central bus station (where the long-distance buses stop) is also right near the expo center (and a local train station). So nothing wrong about this.

T4rget, look at the bus info and see if you need to lower the # of buses to your city. That will alleviate some of the congestion coming in and out of your bus terminal. I always lower it to 4-5. In the begining, that should be plentyfor the city!

This city really needs some high residential neighborhoods. Big ones, those are. Preferably filling an area that isn’t really valuable just by itself. Like Las Vegas.

I love your vídeos, but I think that on the firsts CSL vídeos, when you always used those snow maps, you have had much more careful with the road design. Some roads in this serie, are so unatural designed.

Exactly. I like T4rgets road layout a lot, but in S3 i feels like he shiftin more into looks then functionality, which is not something, that i like. Theres already too much youtube channels focusing on looks, but i liked this one most, because these road layouts were working and there was lot of focus on functionality and optimalization. The only thing that road layouts need to have to look good is consistency and geometric rules (for example i dont rly like that curve near trainstation, because free curve tool is imho the worst thing, that CS can offer). Also using 6 lanes road somewhere, where not a single vehicle use 80% of that road, and the only heavily used intersection on that road have trafic lights is just not cutin well with me.

So, really nice development, but, I think there too many buses, u should manage that, also, using the idea of hierarchy of public transportation, long distance bus lines isn't a good deal, u should have the lines inside district, and then, metro/train and monorail move around the tiles of the map, bus has a small amount of ppl can take, so, tram and bus should be around district. Anyway, that's a good work done.

I actually don't remember if you can do this in no mods, but can you adjust the number of busses on each line? your lines travel so far before they start the game will most likely be adding a lot of extra busses. ps. catching up, so if you fixed this in a future vid, or after 12:57 then nvm :p

Do you have any advice for creating city blocks? I've tried to make them 12x30 units and it works well for vanilla growable buildings (they use all the space without wasting anything) but, when I try to put workshop assets they are too big for my blocks :( I don't know what to do

@T4rget In the new commercial area, can you fit a pathway under the 6-lane elevated road, along the railroad, between the road that runs behind the train station and the road the software development building is on (easy to spot at the 8:30 mark ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XZFwLZ-CT5w.html )? That would connected all those tourist building to the commercial area.

You're looking for Mass Transit, you can also get the Network Extensions 2 mod if you play on PC.

@@janarchivell If you have the game on Steam, it's as easy as opening the Steam Workshop, finding Network Extensions 2, and hitting "subscribe". If you don't have Steam, it's a bit more complicated and there are youtube tutorials out there to help you.

Your cities are very well engineered, but they are overengineered. They lack character. you don't get to see their history for example, how a small town with low density becomes a city throughout the decades. That's why your city ist not so realistic, it's more like a Utopia... Also, you could perhaps make a flythrough at the end of your video, so we get to see the city overall ;)

I enjoy your videos man. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but could you please deactivate those construction-sounds in the game options? It's kind of distracting and unnecessary. Just a suggestion. Very inspiring content though
