Bro, for my first playthrough I bought an outfit, it was a red one, I bought he red big valley hat, my favorite Arthur look for the game, so red and I loved it
Brilliant video. I've never dressed Arthur for the particular county he's spending most of his time in, but I will now. I really appreciate how some of the outfits are rather subtle. Far more immersive that way.
Honestly, one of the better videos I like how you put the outfit materials because before I've had a little bit of trouble finding the material that you used but good job and I wish you grace and a quick recovery
I like how at 4:08 the outfit looks sleek but also clunky, like a lot of equipment around the waist, one thing red dead needed/needs is/was ponchos (more than the two trapper onrs you can get) and twin crossing bandoliers. Also would have been pretty good with a director mode 😢
Just found thischannel this morning and I'm on a 10+ video binge! This content shows not only a great appreciation for RDR2 but for Western cinema and history as well! Great content. I won't be missing an upload going forward.
Such a great video! For most of my playtime in the game i’m usually Arthur in the earlier chapters, and for immersion i like to stick with subtle alternatives of his default outfit so it feels like its clothes he actually has or would buy for himself. But seeing how much diversity is capable with all the options in the game is amazing to see! makes me want to boot it up again and try to immerse myself in these regions even more. Your attention to detail is great
I've seen dozens of outfit ideas videos for rdr2 and none were so nicely done :) These fits are just so humble and historically accurate but at the same time they're screaming with whataver lore you might make for them. I'm sure i'll use some of them
5:51 I always like making my outfits for the heartlands a mix between rugged ranch hand and spaghetti western. Usually with a vest rolled up sleeves and gloves.
Hats off to you sir. I absolutely love your Red Dead related videos. Still keeping the game relevant all these years after its release. Here's an idea, design outfits that match your favorite horses and their coats
This was an awesome vid man, the outfits really did bring out their surroundings or vise versa, it would be super cool if you did a fancy gunslinger outfits for Arthur or Jon, I usually play for a while looking like a fancy colourful gunslinger
Great as always. I do a similar look for Bayou Nwa, but I’d replace the coat with the light tan Frock coat you get from the Strawberry general store, or I’d drop it altogether and use the alligator tooth talisman to add a little extra swampy flair. I also use the bison horn talisman for any mountain-man looks because it reminds me of a powder horn
Im Japanese player Your post is a very realistic recreation of the West, and I love the way you dress to blend in so well with everyday wear and the city. This is the kind of video I was looking for! I hope you continue this series of videos!
I have never even remotely thought about doing this and I’m not even saying I’m going to copy it - but it is fascinating to see and they all look fucking amazing. So interesting how people get different things out of this game, your brain clearly works a lot better than mine 😂
Great, just as I’m about to start a new playthrough Gonna take some inspiration from your vids For Arthur I personally can only imagine regular, kind of rugged and practical fashion
I do try to create outfits to match the vibes of the parts of the map I'll be hanging around, but damn, your outfits for Colter, Big Valley, and Cholla Springs match almost exactly with mine! I even try to separate John's and Arthur's styles according to their auras. That ram coat on John just fits his style so well, while I usually replace it with the cougar cutaway coat for Arthur in the colder regions.
I always lament over how badly RDO "expanded" wardrobe of Rdr2. Ridiculous, flashy, unfiting garments for 11 year's old idea of cool. I also miss the use of linen canvas materials and wool. Thx for cool video Sir.
I personally run 2 outfits in the hot areas, one is like an everyday shirt and jeans (real poor guy look) and my one for big robbery’s is the Montana/rodeo hat (either works) the French dress shirt, workman’s pants basically the most black pants I can get, the legion vest and the deluxe QuickDraw boots usually with horseman weapon equipment
I’d love to see outfits for guarma even though you only visit there once (although there are glitches to get back). Maybe a Cuban guard outfit for the plantation area and a rugged stranded survivor look for the jungle areas.
YO, I understand if this is something you have thought about for a while now but i recently pitched this idea to you (And you liked the comment) so its fun to see it become a video :)
Any ideas for immersive outlaw style gameplay, not just rampages and robbing trains in tunnels to not get a bounty, but like being on the run, gunfights that aren’t massacres and smaller robberies and surviving and idk
Id recommend trying some mods like L.A.W (i think its called) and ped damage overhaul. The first mod basically makes the law system in the game more realistic and the second one makes combat more realistic, for a survival elemnt u might want the basic needs mod wich adds u guessed it basic needs, and for more crimes to commit u might want the mod sgtjoes bank robberies and the mod stage coach robberies. If u want to make it feel like u actually have to commit crimes to survive add the realstic economy rebalanced i think its called and your good to go i think
Amazing. Only problem is we are supposed to be able to have 5 custom outfits and now im down to 3 for the Epilogue Playthrough and down to 2 custom outfits for Arthur as the rest got deleted. Still not fixed after 6 years unfortunately.
