It was so weird having Rin do the drawings on the ✨DiGitAL ArT stAtiOn✨, but it was really fun! I’d like to see more videos like this again. Rin if you do read this, you have helped me get SO many new ideas for when it comes to drawing humans’ faces, poses, and clothing and are probably the reason I’ve improved so much! Thank you! ❤️✏️
@Sketchy sparrow but, not trying to be mean, that's more of a scenario than Aesthetic, very neat idea though! (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ Rain garbage does seem hard too
@@leyadil oh, yeah that makes sense, and I personally don't mind, I was just pointing out how the generator is made for aesthetics (even tho you don't have to use it that way) Also I hope you have or are having a lovely day! 🤗
@UC6nMBj_VUo5Y5WBmBIdkA0g Oh gosh I hope no one has to suffer with a name like that. Like maybe your parents are artists and they REALLY don’t like you🤣
Rin: How do you visualize rain into an outfit? Also Rin: Rain brings flowers, so I'm gonna do flowers Me: Making a raincoat and a hat out of garbage or something, so a literal outfit for rainy days (does that count as an aesthetic?)
It was my first thought too. I like her idea of reusing trash items for jewelry and clothing but it would have been so perfect to make a rain coat out of the trash bag
I thought of a hooded poncho out of a big white garbage bag , thrift store clothes, building a rain collector out of black trash bags while it's raining.
The way you incorporated garbage into her outfit reminds me of this thing I found on RU-vid called the little Trashmaid. It’s basically short animations about a lil mermaid whose character is based of off garbage. I know that wasn’t the best explanation 😂 but I recommend looking it up. Edit: actually it’s a webcomic not animations lol
When she was like “How do you do rain as like an outfit?” I was thinking big yellow rain jacket and rain boots. Which could also kinda fit into the garbage thing since those jackets are usually plastic like a garbage bag. Also I like what you did with the “rain”bow colors although I don’t know if that was intentional or not.
When I got dressed this morning the first thing that came to mind was “waffles would draw this outfit” I got the white stripped high waisted shorts, black crop top, oversized denim shirt on top!
there is something about rin that just makes me want to go grab a pencil and star sketching even though its probably not going to look even half as good as rin's does.......you inspire me so much thank you❤️
I really appreciate all these uploads Waffles has done lately. They’re keeping some kind of good vibes going. It’s been such a hard week, there’s been a realization that the police in my town will not help me handle my biological father stalking and harassing my family. We’ve called them so many times over him showing up invited with strangers at our house to threaten us and steal from us. Yesterday he ripped our shed door off the hinges and didn’t stop yelling to his strangers until I let him know I was filming the entire event and that the cops were in their way.. the cops had the audacity to ask if my family, who has stayed in my grandmothers home for nearly 7 years, has a right to be there, and therefor they refused to stop my Biological father from walking off with all of our things. The cops just fucking WATCHED FROM THE ROAD BEFORE DRIVING OFF knowing this man has made death threats and attempts at our lives before. I am appalled at being abandoned by law enforcement when I HAVE VIDEO EVIDENCE. This has been an issue for 23 years and no one we contact will help us. We’ve tried everything short of involving FBI investigations. I NEED HELP, can ANYONE tell me how to handle this when the cops seem to be crooked and favoring the absuer? He has friends in the police department but we’ve tried reporting that and nothing was done, we were simply harrassed by the police for trying to file. They never called us back and refused to take our call over it after that. I don’t know what to do and I’m losing hope I’ll ever have a life free of being stalked by a pedo I have tried to get out of my life. If anyone can send these details to some sort of federal agency that will listen I beg you to do so. Maybe if the corruption in the police system in NC will get some kind of action taken
@@Me-xo5tw I do too. That’s why I’m putting this on RU-vid, so someone who knows how to help can tell me what I need to do when the police refuse to help
The whole time I was watching the rain garbage aesthetic I was thinking of a long black raincoat that was metallic like the trash bag and then gave them plastic knife glasses
Aesthetics: Rain garbage Me: *Trash Mermaid* Rin: I'm thinking of Oscar the grouch Aesthetics: Nebula Core Me: *Space unicorns* Rin: You need pants in space, right Aesthetics: Lava overlord Me: *Toph from Melon lord to Lava lord (lava bender)* Rin: Cruella Devil Me: *Honestly I have no idea what you're going to say next*
I seriously was blown away how you came up with such great designs from simple descriptions. I loved how you put a special spin on each character, and none had the same color combination. 🤗❤️👍🏽💯
Im discouraged because I’m a perfectionist and my art is never good enough for me and I don’t know what to do. My practice stresses me out and makes me take long breaks from art. Anyone have advice?
Make intentionally bad art, use materials you struggle to control. Big blocky brushes, stamps, crayons ect, just stuff that's very hard to get perfect lines. Hold stuff at the end of the supply so you cant control your lines well, get used to just putting random stuff on paper that you cant imagine in your head
@@crissuccs3826 that's actually a great idea! If I had that problem (which I've had before), and since I'm also a perfectionist as well, I would say to try and be more loose with everything, like your sketch or your ideas. Don't just start with a fixated idea, so that you can adjust here and there. This helps me since with a very fixated idea, I can't seem to fulfill it as well as if I came up with new things to add and change during the sketch or drawing process. I hope this helped, sorry that it's so long 😅❤
Your problem is a bit tricky, so my advice is more of a "this is how I would solve that" I take short breaks, to refresh my mind and after break, start with simple sketches or doodles, if that doesn't work, go to social medias and look for artist that inspires and motivate you to draw, Sometimes remembering the reason you draw can help as well. I hope that helps
I have a video on it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3nuavT6ZWOI.html I think its also important to know, that is completely natural to feel that way. A desire to be better can keep you trying. But it is important to try and focus on the 'fun of it' when it gets too irritating. There is a reason you were drawn to art in the first place. Try and recapture that. Figure out what part of you dislikes what you make. You can also try finding one thing about your art that bothers you the most and ignore every thing else. (easier said than done, I know) Just focus on improving that one thing. When you start to get the hang of it, you'll probably feel a sense of accomplishment that will encourage you. Instead of comparing your art to other peoples, compare yourself to what you made last year, or even 5 years ago. That is the only benchmark that truly matters. Your art is a culmination of the things you've learned up until this point and you will continue to improve. Enjoy the process and progress will follow. 💜
I really loved this video! If I were to do something like this, I'd keep in mind that aesthetics are much less literal than they seem. For example, crowcore is not about looking like a crow, but conveying "mischeviousness" and "doing things for yourself only", as well as shiny things. I loved your thoughts and seeing the process!
YESSS! Nothing like a waffles video to get me motivated to draw 💪😌 What is everyone working on? I'm doing some Art Fight attacks! Team Steampunk woop woop 🥳 P.s. hope you're doing great today Rin, and everyone else!
Here I am, crying over being bad at art... and then you come along. Your creativity is really inspiring? And I'm learning along the way! I didn't think to use the clip layer for that, or to color balance or anything like that... Usually I just feel really jealous of RU-vidrs who can draw well... and while you're an absolutely amazing artist, you're also comforting. Thanks!
I googled rain garbage aesthetic and basically it’s where you have bright colored things with a sort of trash material or clothes with random hints kinda looking like there falli from the top and landing at the bottom just like random colors and that sort of thing as a shirt and those pants you did as a bottom you did it really well for someone who wasn’t familiar with it 🤓
So sometimes I clown how people take anything then add "core" to the end and turn it into an "aesthetic" but honestly this website seems kinda fun to test out! Been going through art block lately so I'd have field day with this kind of thing. It's hard to pick a favorite out of the ones you did but nebula core kinda speaks to my soul lol, also the character you made for that one lowkey seems like they could be in fornite
I watched this video on my Chromebook yesterday night and it inspired me to start drawing again. I had stopped taking my sketch book to school with me I was so unmotivated! Then I watched this and decided to try and draw a BATIM aesthetic! That's when I found out that I can actually draw more than the waist up. Thx for making this video and inspiring me, it cause me to discover my real talent and I've been motivated ever since😁
@DrawingWiffWaffles I am THRILLED for this video. Your artistic style and process are both so inspiring to me. I have learned so much from you, as someone who has had a basic knowledge of general art skills for years, but only recently began to take their art more seriously and the more I spend time on my own art, the more I am inspired by your videos. I honestly believe your channel has played a large role in my more recently developed passion for creating my own art. All that said, I was stoked to see this video title because I have been hoping you would do a challenge like this or similar, because it is again, a type of challenge that really inspires and resonates with me. Additionally, the characters you created were fantastic, and as usual, an excellent representation of masterful character artistry, in my opinion. If I could Thumbs up this video a million times, I would.
i can see the nebula core being teleported to another dimension by the lava overlord and then meeting the rain garbage girl and then they together find their way back to the dimension through a portal but the rain garbage girl accidentally falls in too and then they fight the lava overlord together with more people I would watch that cartoon
I love the Nebula core so much! If it were pastel, I would 100% think of Uchuu Kei (ooh-chu kay/key) which is like.. 90's astro/space style with alien pastel accessories and TONS of iridescent/holographic accents! It's one of the many bright and amazing japanese street fashions lol
If you ever decide to give this another shot, I'd recommend checking out the Aesthetic Wiki for reference images! There's a ton of neat stuff on there.
I love your art style it is super inspiring! i have a quick photoshop tip for you that could make your life easier - when using the adjustments in the top left corner, they are basically fixed and you can’t disable them later on. you can go to the bottom right in your layers panel, next to the “new layer” button, and create an adjustment layer that basically does the same thing, with the added benefit that it is seperate from your original art and can be toggled on and off at any point during your process. Obviously feel free to do whatever you want with this information, i just find adjustment layers incredibly helpful and wanted to spread some awareness. Take care and keep making awesome art! ❤️
It's been amazing watching ur talent grow and become what it is and how you are still adapting. I enjoy watching you and I also learn so much from you! You're an awesome artist!

Hello! I just want to say that I noted the way you blocked in the basic shapes for each the figures you drew for each prompt while I watched this wonderful vid. I've started emulating that and my figure drawing has actually improved ten-fold. Proportions are more accurate and there is less messy line work! Thanks for your great work. I'd subscribe again just for that if I wasn't already! Keep up the great work and may your days be full of tasty waffles!
