“Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can equally perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with websites and tools. It also means that they can contribute equally without barriers.” end quote. - Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI)
Designing with accessibility best practices benefits people without disabilities too. This is because impairments can be permanent (e.g. being blind), temporary (e.g. using your screen in bright sunlight), or situational (e.g. having scratched glasses).
"The global market of people with disabilities is over 1 billion, with a spending power of more than $6 trillion. Although accessibility awareness is on the rise, there is still plenty of room for improvement with 59,653,607 distinct accessibility errors detected across the top 1 million home pages-an average of 60 errors per page." -Think With Google

Thank You so much ! I learned a lot especially how to make designs color independent to convey the message and content to our users for responsive designs. I will start my designing skill more from now from low-fidelity to Gray Scale then High-fidelity. :) and thank you for making this course stepwise and interactive.

Awesome job! I learned a lot about accessibility and how many websites are dependent on color coding. Thank you for teaching us how to add other structural and interactive elements to differentiate a website for everyone to use and enjoy!
