Gyasi! im a HUGE fan of you both! Thank you for responding to my comment on your video, y'all literally inspire me to keep going at my computer science degree. Please never stop uploading this type of content!
I too have become more comfortable with programming since I started using Mx keys. My monitor and speakers are old and I would consider buying a new one based on this video. Thank you.
I have these two huge Edifier (R2700) studio speakers on my desk, and I can confidently say they are some of the best purchases I've ever made. I use them pretty much all the time while I'm on the computer, and good sound quality makes a world of difference.
We have applied the maximum personalization for the comfort of our posture, setup multiple monitors, dancing moitors, curved keyboard, glowing mice, adjustible chairs and multiple PC setup with some music to boost our workflow from stack overflow which will give us a ralaxation to our shoulder, wrist, body and mind for long long double hours. Now we will code better. //just for fun.
Hey Mayuko, you seem to have a ton of experience with monitors, can you give me a hand? I can't wrap my head around this... I really like the 27-inch display size as my main display for productivity --coding, taking notes with my graphic tablet, and watching educational videos--. Because of that, I would like to have a monitor that complements the 27-inch display...Which resolution would you recommend for the 27-inch display, and which monitor size and resolution would you recommend as a complementing display for the 27-inch display? I was thinking of going 27 at 4k plus a 24 at 1080p Appreciate your suggestions! PS: I don’t do gaming at all!
I recommend having a 49” curves wide screen monitor helps so you can see code editor on one side of screen and other side of screen help resources or documents
thinking and also trying to make a change for myself and my family. Researching dev work setups, preferences, coke or pepsi, recommendations, portait or landscape lol. I feel a 2+ screen portait/landscape setup would def help me in my quest to have @Techlead acknowledge my code ISN'T garbage lmao!!! I desire a zen but also a dubstep setup. one step at a time and i shall keep researching and banging away on my keyboard. I appreciate all your input and i adore this vid! Qapla'!
clicked for the "whoah! Japanese chick" stayed for the cool, relaxing content. we have almost the same monitor set up but changed to a 34 inch UW one. almost same keyboard and mouse too, but I have the ordinary (windows) one. almost same laptop too but I got the 16 inch lower spec one. nice content!
go to r/battlestations, his desk is the most mainstream thing there and you can look at how other people decorated it. Not saying its bad, just saying if this was a reddit post he probably wouldnt get that much attention.
Ahh this video came at perfect time! I just started a new job and after not working for a month, going back to desk work is making my back HURT. Will try out these tips 💕
regarding speakers...did you say Bose, Logi?? You must be kidding.. I had Logitechs for quite a while and they did not sound so great, so I had to replace them and I went for the nubert nuPro-A active series!!!This is a pair of really, really, really, very well sounding speakers... Once you hear them, you want them!! However I am not sure if they ship to everywhere... www.nubert.de/nupro-a-200/p1362/?category=254 not cheap though, but worth every cent!
Don't fuck up ur desk setup the cost of a good standing desk + expensive chair + monitor is always gonna be less than the medical bill from chronic ergonomic injuries. I upgraded too late and my neck is fucked
I’m a dual monitor kind of guy myself, though I would like to add a large(30+) center one. Also, nothing beats cherry switches. As far as speakers go a good parts-express build.
For anyone on Windows 10 and using single monitor... Windows+Tab -> New Desktop Ctrl+Windows+LeftArrow/RightArrow to switch between desktops You're welcome 😊
Can an IT student be a software engineer? We have specialization in software technologies too. As sophomore in college, I knew two languages (Java, C++) and planned to study python soon. PS. I binge-watch all your contents since yesterday!! I admire you a lot Ms. Mayuko.
If you learn some of the basic languages then yes. Most companies just want a degree and if you're capable of being a software engineer, which really just entails using programming to solve issues, then you'll be fine. Most of your learning will come when you're actually given something to do and you'll need to figure out how to do it.
Hi. I just bought a 43" Widescreen LC43J890DKUXEN but I think I will give it back. The "easy setting box" program to split the screen is a mess, the "eye saver mode" is a fraude and to the texts look awful (pixelated, not smooth). I need a good monitor to code and picture/video editing. I had a LG32" MP58HQ that I liked it very much but it burned my eyes and the resolution was 1920x1080 (awful). Please could you recommend me a good big (more than 38") monitor that is good for the eyes, coding and picture/video editing?. Thank you sooooo much on behalf my eyes! :)
Perfect desk setup for programmers : - 27 inch 4k Monitor - 16 Inch Laptop (Macbook Pro 16 Inch) - Good desk light - A good desk, spacious but not too big (150cm, Fixed). - A good ergo chair.
Since this is a massive Tech channel, Any ideas for what to do When someone gets a hold of my IP address? Someone recently got a hold of it through a click of a link, Would love to see any suggestions by anyone. I am panicked about this happening to me
When you connect to the internet, any webserver knows your IP address. Go here you will see your own IP address www.whatismyip.com/ Someone having your IP address is not of any concern. The mos they could do is DDOS your IP. If that happens ask your ISP for a new IP.
To add to the previous comment, for the vast majority of people, there is no "my IP address". When you connect to the internet, you dynamically lease one of your ISP's addresses. That lease expires pretty quickly, and if you're not connected when it does it is not renewed. The next time you connect, you often get a lease for a different IP address. Some ISPs offer static IP, but that is not the norm as it needlessly ties down resources.
Nice Video, I'am Programmer but at same time gamer, so for the monitor Is really Nice is 27", and two Monitor, the monitor Ultra Wide Is expensive. The laptop i use for work is worse. 1366x768 in LCD and bad colors, Lenovo. Ryzen 5 2600U. Now watch the second part.
Notice they both mention Stack Overflow! Thank God for Stack Overflow!! What would we do without it? I hate when my google search takes me to one of those old Microsoft Q&A sites that usually shows the question like 3 times and the same persons answer 2 or 3 times too - yuck! Stack Overflow is more than a website, it's an institution, a religion!
Ideally you should have 3 monitors. One for your IDE, one to run your simulator or emulator (if you are an Android dev) to test your app, and another one to display API help/stackoverflow/etc. 😎
I just tried to setup my own macbook pro desk, but have a problem with my wifi performance on my mac when it entering clamshell mode (close lid) anyone has a same problem with me?
Help me to decide - one curved 34inch WQHD screen or two 1080p 24inch monitors or one 27inch 1440p flat monitor for programming? Which monitor setup is the best for programming?
