For full transparency, I’m a long time Falcon Fan & far from the fair-weather type. However, we as fans should always be honest and unbiased. I get that it’s Week 1, but the idea that Des had more catches than our #1 wide receiver is ridiculous. The fact that the highest drafted TE in history isn’t featured in our offense is ridiculous. No matter what, I’m going to support whomever we have under center, but I’m not going to sit here and act like I didn’t witness a QB who’s obviously uncomfortable, lacks confidence, and struggles with going through progressions. Long season ahead, but what else is new. #RiseUp

They need to let this QB fly because the whole playbook was mostly running and screen pass. Get Arthur Smith off the play calling.

Arthur Smith play calling was suspect all game Falcons bread and butter is running the ball to set up play action and at times the play calling was definitely questionable the defense balled out and Jesse Bates was worth every penny we gave him in free agency I think this team will be much better come next week against the packers

The offensive line has to fix their issues--especially pass blocking. Arthur Smith can also call plays to counter good defensive lines. Calls were too conservative!

Calling Desmond start a slow start is an understatement. This is the product of poor quarterback play. And a coach that doesn't believe in his quarterback as much as he claimed that's why he's so quick to take the ball out of his hands. For some reason Arthur Smith want a game manager than a talented quarterback. There's no excuse here. When you look at the stats of Desmond Ridder last year and the stats in this game. It is exactly the same the only difference is he had an entire offseason knowing that he's the starter. I will save my full assessment by week four. But as of right now our offense is not ready. And I blame the coach more than anyone. You should have never given them one drive in the preseason.

Ridder needs to be under center EVERY 1st down play and the ball needs to be ran 80% of the time on 1st down. All of Ridder sacks came when he was not under center. This team is built to run the ball,, put that fact in opponents face on every new set of downs!
