This is one of our stops when riding to Mentone. I have a pic of a dog in a tube floating in the upper pond. Hard to beat the beauty in N. Alabama

That must have been before the rain we got last week. I was there this past Sunday and it's moving probably 4x that much water now. Beautiful place to visit though and a great place to swim at the bottom.

We like to hike down beside the falls. Try that next time.

Great scenery and yes I would not Kayak off those falls nor do I jump out of airplanes both things are stuff I would learn on the way down.

Awesome to see you up in Alabama. This is one of our favorite places to explore. If your available check out cathedral caverns. It’s about 45 mins or less from desota falls . You won’t be disappointed. By the way always enjoy your videos.

It must be a deep hole at the bottom. Too bad the power plant isn't still there. That would be cool.

I know a hard hat kayaker that has gone over those falls. Said it's a total blast...then again, he thinks class 5 rapids are akin to a calm day on the lake. Yea, he has a screw loose...LOL
