Why do you people drool all over her? She was an awful friend, this situation was PURE evidence of that. Lynette had every reason not to tell Gaby she was pregnant, and Gaby acted like a child!
@@usmznare you serious? Lynette becoming pregnant who have put Carlos in trouble with the position she was offered. She sued them first when she was at fault in the first place.
@@thecobweb4720 Lynette was wrong for that, but she put her family’s needs before Carlos’. I understand where she was coming from. It sucked yeah, but what did you expect her to do? What Gaby and Carlos did was inexcusable.
@@usmznoh please may be you are a Lynette..she had no right to do this to Gabby and Carlos. They have a family too and she hid her pregnancy when Carlos was starting off something new and trusted Lynette..
When I worked at T.J. Maxx I used the word "crap" instead of "things","items", or "belongings" etc. referring to store products. I definitely did not mean any harm, but once a manager brought it to my attention. . . Of course be being stubborn like "Well, I wouldn't care if anyone called my stuff crap. Especially, if it's cral to them." LOL. I'm such a nice person I felt it didn't matter. . . Those things remind me of just how much like Gabby I am and why I just love her so much 💗😂.
Tom was such an underrated character and Doug Savant is an underrated actor. The face he exhales he says “I’m not what’s gonna spoil it” is adorable, so is the way he said it. I crack up when he says “remember you said that” to Gaby. I always liked Doug‘s facial expressions and delivery. His speech in the finale when him and Lynette get back together gets me every time.
It is illegal to fire a woman for been pregnant but it not illegal to fire people who lie to their employers. When she accepted the promotion she knew she wasn't going to be able to fulfill everything that the new position entitled but still accepted it. That's why she told her other coworker a bunch of lies so he wouldn't accept the other position in which he would have to move to another state so he would be around to cover for her when she had to go on maternity leave. She didn't care how this affected her coworker professionaly, she was only thinking of herself so why should anyone care about her professional career?
I think that's only in America? How could you be fired if someone giving you a promotion and later want to fire you because of being pregnant. You just have the right to be pregnant and the right to have maternity leave and later come back. The boss need to find a solution about that and if that's really a problem then you shouldn't hire women in the first place, because you can think ahead that women want to start a family someday. So you have to take into account that would cause financial consequences. If someone gives you the opportunity having a promotion, then of course you say yes, because after giving birth you are continuing this job again.
Kinda short phone interaction between Gaby and Carlos for it to be realistic. The way the camera fixates on Gaby's face, Carlos' words to her might have been: "Lynette's suing us! I've just been served. YOU need to come home!" Just a funny thought. xD
So llynette you were protecting yourself. Just like brea was protecting her brand but you getting jealous and smashing her car didn't help. She'll such a hypocrite
Granted its unfair to fire a woman because shes pregnant. But Lynette was deceitful. And she had to learn that Carlos is not Tom, she was very foolish to go against him like that.

She lied. It doesn’t matter if she shouldn’t be fired for being pregnant because she was deceitful to both her employer and her friend. I can’t stand her !!!!
Ok yes she should not have lied about being pregnant when she accepted the promotion but him firing a pregnant employee doesn't give the company a good representation
@@killianmmmooreTrue but he knew that. That’s why he gave her that assignment (on purpose of course) to test her and she didn’t complete it because she chose to go to her kid’s play, so he fired her for that instead. Anyways, Lynnette was wrong here and she wouldn’t even admit it, she was always the worst
No, Carlos and Gaby are the devils in this storyline, even if she lied about her pregancy, this is not how you would treat a friend. Just being selfish again.
@@jesswhycamarz lol now I am the Karen. Grow up 😂 Carlos couldn't lose his job because it was his own company. He could have tried everything to solve this problem. Hire someone else temporary, paying Lynette half of her loan instead during her maternity leave, let her work a few hours per day and build it up, let her take care of the baby during her work or something else.
@@Jongen. we get it, you don't care about your family! friends over everyone for you! stop tryna convince a stranger online to hop on that weird bandwagon.
Honestly he deserved that. Like, I don't care that she didn't tell him, he fucking fired her over being pregnant, that is the bottom line. He could have easily just demoted her found a replacement (not to mention that there is a thing called 'work from home' and Lynette is more than just capable to do that. People need money, it's plain and simple (also Lynette declined a different offer to work for Carlos because Gabby begged her to) like, I can't believe Gabby has the gal to be mad about this.
He didn't fire, I remember him saying he couldn't so he moved her office into a closet or something weird like that and basically made her job terrible.
