They did some weird rewriting of Susan's character in this season. She was cooking all this food for Paul when it had been established that she was a terrible cook, and now they're saying she always played by the rules. No she didn't lol. She had a history of breaking into people's houses and doing other sketchy things as part of stupid, poorly thought out plans.
