Agree.......Your last sentence says a lot about many Western Women......Many either don't want to be in a relationship because their job is more important. Had a friend who married a beautiful Icelandic lady, that last just over 5 years. When he threw her out with a divorce and plane ticket to Iceland he never planned to see her again. He did, about three months later she showed back up with relatives to get the money she said he owed her for the time they spent together. That didn't happen and she and her family are now serving time for destruction of property, they burnt the house and vandalized things before trying to escape back to Iceland.

Went to Iceland in February …. It’s a dull, overpriced hellhole. Plus, I went to the ‘Blue Lagoon’ and was pretty ill within 24 hours afterwards and this lasted over 2 weeks. One thing I will say though, their women are hardcore - it’s was winter when I went and naturally was layering clothing to keep warm. The indigenous women were dressed for autumn and less. Hardy creatures…..

I grew up in a small town in Canada. I didn't realize how bad the situation was until Facebook. One of my friends ended up marrying a girl. If all you go in is the Facebook photos you can't tell which one's are immediate family and which ones are through marriage. His parents were educated, he was educated, he lived in a city with about a million people in it, still moved back and married his first cousin. There's at least two aunts/uncles on my dad's side that are first cousins. You could kind of write this off because they would be snowed in for half the year and things happen, but we've had fuel injection and antifreeze since the 90s. I remember my parents and all my aunts and uncles trying to set me up with one of my cousins even before either of us hit puberty. Like wtf?!
The opposite was true when Europeans settled in the US during colonial times. There was an abundance of men and few females, with the exception of Native Americans. Many European male settlers married Native women, and as a result, quite a number of Modern Americans today share genes with the surviving Indigenous Tribes. This is true in my own maternal ancestry.

Many married Indians and the descendants are Metis Mexico and points south was a land of conquest (not settlement) and as such men overwhelmingly comprised early waves. Funny that you bring up Latin Americans to these girls. Having lived in the Nordics for half my life, I would say that is the culture that has the most trouble integrating and getting along with the people there. Eveything in those cultures are opposite one another.

Got back from Iceland 3 weeks ago. Didn’t interact too much with locals as family trip. Can attest to the physicality of the local women though. They have a bearing of confidence & beautiful purposefulness in public.

Icelanders are a fifty-fifty mix of people from Norway (including Sami people) and people from the British Isles. Plus the country was under the Danish crown for some hundreds of year, so lots of Danes there. PLUS a lot of trade with Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish people, mainly, but many others as well. Not as isolated as people make it out to be. We even have Native American blood lines from way back.

In 1996 I went on a six month deployment to the Mediterranean courtesy of the US Navy. I met a young woman from Iceland while in Palma Spain. All these years later I still remember her stunning blue eyes along with blonde hair. To this day I have never seen anyone with that color of beautiful blue eyes.
I couldn't tell if this video was supposed to be humorous or serious or both. Either way, I really liked it. I went to Iceland and it's such an amazing place. I did the lagoons and hot springs. Very relaxing. You have to visit the The Icelandic Phallological Museum in Reykjavik. I also suggest going inside the world's only hollow inactive volcano. It's so big you hike the inside of it.

I was in the Navy from 1961 to 1963 and deployed from Argentia, Newfoundland to Keflavik, Iceland. I enjoyed Iceland but it was quite cold in the winter and cool most of the other seasons. The summer was so short you had to check a calendar to know if it was really summer. I dated Icelandic women when I was there and they were quite good looking and enjoyed partying. I would love to visit Iceland and see the changes as I was last there 61 years ago!

Glad to see from the comments here that my gut feeling did no betray me. If something seems too good to be true it probably isn't. If they were truly desperate there would be a waiting line to get into the country. There is always a reason why things are the way they are.
This video is quite stupid and I don't see what intentions it's supposed to have. Not only are there loads of factual errors, much of the B-roll of people walking about is from the downtown centrum area where it's about 70-80% tourists. Some of the young girls traveling in groups are definitely Icelandic as there are high schools in the centrum area which mostly girls attend but much the footage was of foreign tourists. With regards to the women, no they're not open and friendly (at least not to the 90% of the male population) They mostly all have a narcissistic superiority complex and a university degree and will absolutely look down on you if you don't measure up to their insane standards. However what the video gets right is the women being interested in foreigners. That has been a thing since US military occupation in WW2. But local guys get treated like absolute trash.

The only issue with Icelandic women is that they are in Iceland, an amazingly beautiful place and awesomely nice people, but.... I visited in the summer and 24 hours of daylight is awesome but with a high of 19 Celsius.... 🤦♂️ 🥶 my 🥜 off. An Iceland girl tried to get at me, she was extremely beautiful but there's no way in hell I wanted to go back. I'm used to 19 Celsius in the winter! Not summer.
