If you open an .exe in notepad, part of the code isn't encrypted, and this can be used to find malicious commands.

@@tovarishcheleonora8542 (apologies for the duplicate notifications you probably got, youtube shadow removes comments everytime i edit them so i have to repost the entire thing when i proofread) well not the same exact thing, the north koreans go to extreme extent, i agree privacy wise windows is absolutely compromised and you shouldn't use it if you want a lick of privacy, but so far in as things like google, yeah they do some pretty egregious privacy-invasive stuff, but they dont literally keylog your system and watch your webcam etc, they collect info about you but it's a spectrum not binary. like if i were to rate redstar OS on a spy level, it'd be about 10/10 big tech data driven companies like google, youtube, etc, i'd rate it a 6.3/10, still absolutely bad but not insane like what north korea does. but it depends on the specific applications, there are actually a few legitimate non-foss software that mostly respects your privacy, but i would say if privacy is a big priority for you, then you should probably stick with open source software as much as humanly possible.

Actually redstar os 1 is the most commonly used. 4 is out and the south koreans got ahold of it, but no distro currently exists (Unfortunately)

This is already being done. I remember it being with an untainted OS images though. I'm not sure but tails might be used as well for this purpose. You can also boot from micro sd cards which would be really useful since you can swallow it if you really have to.

here in brazil theres multiple, the water supply company for my state of alagoas made one in house for their office spaces, they dont have a name as far as i know, they may have but they're not intended to be used outside of the state companies anyway, i bet its something based on arch or some LFS thingy, i know because my dad works on it and i had the pleasure of finding out my dad knows how to use linux and hes very good at it, learned how to use the terminal, theres some python data analysis with pandas(as pd lol) and automation going on too, good stuff the interface gives me XFCE vibes, but it could be Plasma too i'm not sure, theres the CASAL logo as the wallpaper and some office applications, i was very interested

yea i was wondering this as well. since you have root privileges, can't you just install firefox or chromium or something? unless redstar has very restricted repos, which is likely the case.
