@@Gervaj79 Even tho that's absolutely true, there's no denying he was the single best pastry chef ever in any edition of Masterchef. I've never seen desserts like the ones he made. He would have become a pro even if his family weren't able to turn on a microwave.
@Stephen villegas facts! It's truly a shame that not nearly enough people are aware of Gordan and Marcus's history together. However, giving that both of them complement his work.. is justifying of his skills regardless
and he did...look at where he is now... his koi dessert bar is so successful. i met him in person once while he was shopping. so humble and approachable despite all the success
his mom and dad are chef. his parent have restaurant desert. so before reynold join masterchef, he know a lot about desert. i know it when he story telling his life.
This is kind of competition we want to see. The supportive judges, charming contestants, and yes, such good friendship. Enough with drama, we're not watching a soap opera. We want a competition where the contestants giving out their best effort and resources to create their best dishes.
@@andreyyudistira4421 mayoritas org sini lebih suka sama drama murahan, bukan tontonan yg membangun & mendidik. Gw heran sebenernya, apa sih enaknya nonton kompetisi yg banyak drama settingan gitu tuh
That's why Masterchef Australia is the best. At least from a few seasons that I followed, all of them are not full of useless theatricals, just great contestants supporting each other and fantastic, honest judges helping them grow. I think a lot of them ended up being close friends as well.
Mm, yes but still a bit of a bone to pick on them calling him an 'amateur' chef - I mean come on guys don't say that word of all words to the Legend lol.
To get a compliment from Marco Pierre White, even as far as saying that he would employ Reynold, is just extraordinary. The guy who said that he would employ Reynold is the same guy who pressured Gordon Ramsay so badly, that he decided to cry.
2:57 When Marco said "I'd employ you." I cried I'm a life long chef. 12 out of 30 years spent in professional kitchens, dishwasher, cook, prep, wheel cook, brunch chef, banquet chef.... Hearing that from Marco is a dream.
@@joekerr5418 top chefs treat their employee as their coworker lol not subordinate...top chefs like marco, gordon and graham know most of their head nad sous chef in every each one of their restaurant
Ch4n J0h4n beberapa kali emang kyk gitu, tapi cuma bisa diitung pake jari saking sedikitnya. Dan kalopun marah itu masih membangun + gak over kyk di MC Indo or US
Finally i found all the episodes from those Reynold's best moment clips! 😆😆 here u go.. - The panna cotta, ep 1. (CartoonHD, audition part 1, 36:00) - Forbidden fruit, ep 6. - Chocolate log, ep 31. - Coconut granita (perfect score for immunity pin), ep 48. - Balsamic & citrus, ep 50. - Chocolate orange (Marco said he would employ Reynold), ep 55. - Apple & caramel, ep 58 I like him very much! I watched this season only for him 😂😂
they actually did, they called reynold back at season 8 for a pressure test replicating his dessert, season 9 for immunity challenge, and season 13 for invention test(maybe)
George said "you have left a legacy that we'll not forget" and he was right. Reynold is the best thing that ever happened to Masterchef Australia. He is loved by so many.
One of the best Masterchef seasons ever. Every contestant in top 8 was par excellence, especially top 5. And journey of Reynold and Billie is so inspiring throughout the season and beyond.
You could tell that George was rooting for Reynold so much. He got so excited with every new dish that he brought out, and was his biggest fan on the show
Aamna Here I might be wrong but I think they eliminated him coz his skills are made for making desserts, a master chef is supposed be an all-rounder if you know what I mean. But Reynold is absolutely a dessert master no doubt :)
Aamna Here I wanted him to win too. But he didn’t work well under pressure at the time. And desserts were the only thing he knew. So I can kinda understand why he would be eliminated he didn’t have enough knowledge on savoury food. But he’s on masterchef Australia 2020 and I’m so excited cuz he’s back and better than ever. I’m hoping he wins this year.
I miss these trio. Their reactions whenever they get to taste something really good... The “oohs” and “ahhs” are so funny and they’d even take pictures of his dessert on their phones.
My God People how can u not know him, chefs come and go but Reynold Stay Forever, he left such a mark that he is remembered like a good aftertaste lingering of a really really good desert, the best ever Pastry and Desert Chef in Masterchef
Years later, he's becoming one of the most successful pastry chef and open his own restaurants with his brother (which is one of the judge in masterchef Indonesia). What a career
Judges: "We're sorry Reynold , you will be going home." Reynold arrives home, checks his voice mail.. "Hello Reynold , this is Gordon Ramsay... Master chef .. can u come and work for me"? 😁
Reynold dont walk out of masterchef with dissapointed but he walked out as a professional and a dessert king with the most talented dessert in masterchef we ever saw 🌻
@@sekkachi3175 I think the judges knew how to treat Reynold well. The judges decided that Reynold had deserved more than a Master Chef Champion. He is already a Professional Chef. It was not fair for others if he won the competition so the judges gave the chance to other ones to win.
@@sekkachi3175 well now he remains the lovable guy who we can keep cheering for. And the reality of course is, it doesn't matter. Casual MC viewers have no idea who won this season, but they know this dude. Better he lose here as a youngster who has much to prove in cooking, whilst crushing it at desserts already. He's got ro for improvement.
He's a true inspiration! Watching him walk through the MasterChef doors and into the Koi dessert bar makes me realize that everyone can achieve their dreams. You just have to work towards it. Kudos Reynold! You have made a place in everyone's heart mate!
He is such a talented man. Young, talented, humble plus a beautiful face. What a package you are, Reynold! I will definitely visit your dessert bar one of these days. ❤
saya gak kenal dengan reynold ini saya kesini karena chef arnold juri masterchef indonesia, tapi saya nangis nonton video ini .. dan saya yakin reynold ini orang yang sangat ramah baik dan rendah hati. sukses selalu ya reynold.
This was the day I cried and even lamented. I watch the competition because of him and mu heart breaks when he was sent home. He will remain as my favorite contestant ever in the masterchef show worldwide!..👍👍🙌🙌👏👏👏😍😍😍
I just love how the contestant are so professional despite the competition. They’re living like a family, and Reynold’s even treat it as his Second Home.
" I know it's gonna take time to achieve where I want to be" Later- enters as professional for his dish to be re-created. And owns his fancy, pop up dessert bar. Who's the real winner here?
Wow... hes the best no bullshit!.. His work is delicately elegant and sophisticated.. never go after men's approval.. if you want to achieve greatness... soar high! Sky is the limit... there is only you..
Kalo disini top 4 nya yg pulang adalah yang baik diantara yg terbaik.. Di Indonesia sekarang top 4 nya masak daging aja masih di koment jelek dan kurang enak...
I cried so much when he got eliminated all those years ago cause I knew his talents were worthy of wining the masterchef title back then but now he’s successful and I don’t mind that he didn’t win the show!
You know, what makes this so special for me is that Reynold is so amazing at what hes doing but yet also humble .. and also the chef judges. Im from germany, i didnt know about the show so i didnt watch it, all i got are these highlights. The judges often looked "emotionless" to me, "snooty" .. but Reynold with his fantastic dishes brought the kids out of them beeing super excited and happy. Imo the show is a bit dry but Reynold changed that when he was there. Nice that he became a top chef.
I loved him and it was so disappointing to see him leave that season. They could have overlooked the fish cooking to the master desserts he has presented. Best season ever. Nothing close to that season and he is meant for big things
