I’ve had one of his desserts - we were at a Masterchef dining challenge last season when Gordon Ramsay guest judged. We sat on Reynold’s team in the dining room and we had his Yuzu dessert. One word: amazing!

I have a theory that they kept failing Reynold so that he'd come back and they could eat his desserts again.

He cannot cook someone else food by following there steps but when it's come to his ideas and creativity he's a masterclass absolute legend.. he's not just a chef he's a artist 😍❤️

This guy transcends competitions that are confined to format and a marking criteria… what he excels at is carving his own genre. He will give you a wtf moment and something it’s recipient has never experienced before. I’ll take that over a perfectly cooked fish any day.

Reynold is world-class. He already knew it. Half of his dishes cannot be replicated by even the judges. They would look different and flawed compared to Reynold. He is personally not in this to win the competition. He simply needed a platform for his recognition and he definitely got it!

He's the 'forbidden contestant'. I mean he's already in the realm of the masters, so he doesn't need to bother himself with things such as MasterChef (which is a way to the master realm).

The thing people don't understand about Reynold, all his dishes, you can't get anywhere else, the best restaurant in the world doesn't have what Reynold has and that's special.

I’m afraid Reynold can’t be a chef. A chef has to cater same dish consistently and repeatedly. His dish is a pain to replicate. He is an artist.

This is only the 4th clip I've seen of this guy. He is what cooking is about. Whether you do pastry or savory, home cook or fine dining...it's all about putting your soul onto every last plate you place in front of someone and Reynold does it every time from what I've seen. This man is a master and these dishes have been an absolute pleasure to lay eyes on.

Everybody says that the best thing in life is having pleasure and enjoy what you do for a living. When you see Reynold smiling you are sure that he's having a blast and he's certainly enjoying what he's doing. I guess the secret is living your life creating something that gives pleasure and enjoyment to others.

have you ever eaten something , that as soon as you take a bite, moves you emotionally? because texture, taste, the whole balance ist just there and absolutely right. i've had that as a professional chef and it's what i can see in their eyes and reaction when they just get the spoon in. i always sucked at desserts, but watching these really make me get into it alot more. actually im binge watching his entry videos on MC and his channel at the moment... just to get an idea on the work he put in and how he did it. so yeah, this is my 5th time, watching this in absolute awe and completely understanding what the judges go through. personally i like his "white noise" best, because its so clean and yet so complex with the added contrast when they crack the strawberry pebbles...
