@@JackReacts904 Ikr? the part where Beyoncé gently wiped a tear from Kelly's face melts my heart so much because it had me like "Awww that's so sweet."
Those were real tears. Kelly wasn’t supposed to cry. And... if you couldn’t tell, they made this song for Kelly. But, Kelly didn’t know it was for her at the time.
Michelle is DEFINITELY underrated...she actually has alot of range. You should react to If We Had Your Eyes by Michelle Williams...it showcases her range more and it has a really good message. You should also react to a few other songs by Destiny's Child like Independent Women, Soldier, With Me, Survivor, Through With Love, No No No, Bug-A-Boo, Jumpin Jumpin, TShirt, Bad Habit, Brown Eyes, Get On The Bus, and Emotions. You should also react to Letoya Luckett.. she's an original former member of Destiny's Child. React to her songs Torn, Regret, and Not Anymore.
The girls, before releasing this album, each went the separate ways and produced their own work and lived their lives before coming back to record, so the songs from this album, Destiny Fulfilled, is all about personal experiences. You should listen to "Through with Love," Live from Atlanta if you want to hear the three of them Live...its MAGICAL. (Side note, from that same concert, Michelle William's "Do you Know" is a gospel track that will show you her full range. Dont let her small part in this song fool you.)
I'm learning shit I didn't know from the comments lol. Never knew Kelly was in an abusive relationship. This was DC's last album together before Beyonce fully went solo. My mom used to blast this from beginning to end. Kelly and Michelle are seriously slept on in regards to keeping that sound intact. 9th Wonder produced this. Michelle killed both of them on "Through With Love" from the same album.
If you really pay attention the whole destiny fulfilled album is about Kelly's journey from the abusive relationship to her then engagement to Roy Williams
Finally, a reactor who does it well. It's a joy watching you fam. It seems you're slowly becoming a member of the hive, lol. Be careful, becoming a Beyoncé Stan makes you have a really high standard for music. But as for your reactions, you are really doing this shit the right way. I see big things for you bro.
Aye!!! Once again you’re making me feel old AF because this came out when I was a senior in high school 😂😂...I would listen to this entire album LOUD AF in my mamas car and when she would get back in she’d be so mad because I’d always forget to turn the volume down 🤷🏾♀️ but now as an adult I always turn the volume down when I get out of my car lol but anyway great reaction!! Do bootylicious by them it’s a really fun song!! 💋
You’ll love Michelle’s verse on “Through with Love” it’s the best part of the song. On a completely different note, also do Destiny’s Child “Jumpin Jumpin”
don't know if anybody mentioned it, but the beat was done by 9th Wonder. His catalog is lengthy, from his own group (Little Brother), Jay-Z and so much more. The sample is from The Dramatics "Ocean of Thoughts and Dreams"
You should react to Destiny’s Child Bad Habit. It’s another track from that album where Kelly touches on her relationship. She sings lead that whole track. The whole album for the most part is about Kelly’s relationships
9th wonder produced the track. Probably the top underground hip hop producer of the late 90's/early 2000's. You should peep his material with Little Brother/Phonte. Straight fire.
He's been mentioned several times in the comments, but Patrick Douthit, better known as 9th Wonder, is a hip hop producer, record executive, and DJ from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, who is also teaching faculty at NC Central U & Duke. Some of the Duke courses that he co-taught include The History of Hip-Hop, Sampling Soul, etc. I learned more about him when he was a featured guest on the Jemele Hill is Unbothered podcast. His credentials and discography blew me away. This song is one of his many amazing tracks.
Jack Reacts yes! And you got the voice too. Good luck with your channel and future endeavors. You’re also learning a lot about classic R&B music and videos as well. This could take you far one day!
9th Wonder produced this and Is She The Reason “(which u should check out next 🔥)” 9th wonder is from my city Winston Salem North Carolina, which we call it the “TRE4” so... I’d consider this & Is She the Reason as the “Tre4 Sound🔥” that cloudy/drizzling in the summer type of sound
This is Such an underappreciated song and video from them so inspiring and empowering! The sex and the city feel is everything and Michelle Caps this song off!!!!!!
the video was based on sex and the city. the intro with the cab and skyline, walking down the street (that scene was in the series finale), restaurant scene, beyonce typing (the main character typed her thoughts because she's a columnist) and fashion sense are from sex & the city. they were paying homage to their friendship by recreating the show which is based on 4 female friends in nyc who are navigating through love and relationships together. they were watching themselves in their own version of the show.
React to them singing this live on tv show , cd uk . They had on blue dresses. Beyoncé looked absolutely breathtaking gorgeous. Her face and body on point and looking at her u can’t keep eyes off and you’ll keep smiling throughout her beauty mesmerising
Love this song and the whole Destiny Fulfilled album, you can't go wrong doing any of those songs. Can't wait for you to check out more of their earlier songs also like Survivor and Bugaboo.
Destiny's Child - Is She The Reason ... I can't comment about it enough :D This is your 3rd video where I say You have to react to it cuz You gonna love it!
You may also want to react to Kelly's live performance of "Bad Habit." It's Kelly's solo in Destiny's Child last album and she goes more in-depth about this same relationship.
Gorgeous video, great song, awesome vocals. I have fond memories of this time period, I was in my senior year of high school. If you're looking for something fun and enticing from Kelly Rowland, "Can't Nobody" is the track to check out.
No No No remix is my favorite destiny's child track. Def check that out! The vibe on it is great. And def check out one of Brandys newer tracks before she drops her lil comeback single Friday. I'd recommend Wildest Dreams for you. I think it's a good representation of her artistry in 2010's music.
This video is totally set up like an actual TV show or it will be so amazing if the 3 of them were on A TV show together and it was like this. And if they wanted to add a 4th character add solange
Fun Fact ⭐️: This music video is a reference to Sex and The City. Rumour has it this song is really about Kelly during that time since she has revealed the abuse in her relationship in her song "Dirty Laundry" released around 2012 - 2014 so it shows some connecting dots
Produced by 9th Wonder, who (for a period) put the soul back into hip hop - think early Kanye West production and his soul productions and you won’t be far off the mark.
Great review. If you really want to see Michele go off when they’re all together listen “Stand Up for Love” she even out sang Beyoncé (rare, but she made everyone emotional on that track)
I hope you can review Destiny’s Child & Celine Dion’s duet of “Emotions” and the Destiny’s Child performance of “Let’s Wait Awhile” at Janet Jackson’s MTV Icon ceremony
If you haven’t already, would be good to see your take on Erykah Badu (Apple Tree and Didn’t Cha Know are great starters) and D’Angelo (Cruisin (album version, not the video version) and Brown Sugar are masterpieces)
Thank you for your reaction sir and now finally I understand the entire video with Michelle's part she caught Kelly's man cheating 😅 Yeah DC3 the best 😊
Yes!!! He needs to do Migrate and we need Justice for Migrate as well becaus that should have been another number one for her and it’s trending right now on Twitter!!
