@@tamaracassidy720 His ghost had a nickname Pulled Pork. He appeared in couple of lore entries, lookinh for a guardian in the reef. After revival, Crow changed his name
"My guardian isn't the type to hold grudge" Ah yes I don't remember killing anyone who killed my friend. That must have been other me who died 2 years ago
Dude someone said to me that uldren or now the crow has a bad backstory more bad than cayde and I was just astounded on how people in this community hate cayde and love uldren and the crow he was deadass saying cayde was just a crazy dude doing things nothing more and I had to educate him on the lore it was just sad
Well, uldren went into the black garden and apparently before going into the black garden, he was like the crow, but after he changed. His resurrection brought out uldrens true personality
@@smithy1578 The thing is, this is his default personality. He just can't remember his previous life, the tragedies, horrors and wars he must have went through, which made him the miserable Uldren Sov we knew. We saved and helped young Uldren resurface by killing him and stripping him of the memories of his past sorrowful life..
Crow: *just exists in his sweetness, probably enjoying one of the cookies we gave him* Petra: *loading her gun* how many times do I have to teach you this lesson old man
@@voyagerwitch we have 2 eyes We can watch them both, but i think petra may eventually warm up to Crow, as uldren was once her “friend” and she may like having them back
@@friccle_ that's a good point. especially given some of the lore entries, i wonder if petra's motives really were more like putting him out of his misery than revenge.
I love what they've done with Crow. It's such a great redemption arc. You can tell he'd hate Uldren Sov and what he became. I hope we get see more of him in the future.
"You ever get the feeling that there's something... deeper, about the eliksni?" "I already found that deeper part! Super crunchy, with a tender spot in the middle!" "You animal."
No one: Eris: Ikora stop inviting me to your christmas shit. I cant tell you how little fucks I give. Could have sworn you been knowing how it be, but would you look at that
"The Vanguard is aware of increased enemy activity around the DSC entry zone" People have been speculating about a new activity and a secondary path off the raid. Could this be hinting at that?
Lets be real here; she dropped more than two Nova bombs on him. But sooner or later we'll have to let her get it out of her system. The question is how to do where Crow doesn't die.
@@CaffineGrimlin People question how Ikora might react but none even consider Zavala in this. Must remember that the exact reason why he didn't go after Uldren was because he was afraid of losing anyone else to him, or even another member of the Vanguard. So, how would he react if someone bearing Uldren's face showed up at his doorstep practically?
@@Techhunter_Talon well, we know Zavala is adamant in the "guardians don't look out their past" rule and has shown complete disregard to guardians past life crimes as they're not the same person on his mind, so he's the one who's more likely to react favorably after maybe some initial shock at the revelation. If anything, i can see him sheltering Crow from Ikora, as he's the one who knows her the most.
@@Techhunter_Talon the only thing I've been wanting to see is Zavala meeting Crow. I actually didn't even think about Ikora until now. I feel like thats not quite my own fault though; they never use her character for anything. Anyway, I'd like to think that Zavala may reserve some hard feelings but he would be able to overcome that. Ikora on the other hand...may challenge him to a Crucible match...if hes lucky. (Keep in mind she hasn't rocked the Crucible in quite a while)
Currently I'm hoping it's more that it's content for another dlc, rather than them outright forgetting about it. We do have two other dlcs coming, after all, not to mention the seasons in between. And I don't think they'd put that much effort into designing a creature that belongs to The Stranger only to have it's purpose be cutscene aesthetic.
1:10 Glint couldn’t be anymore right. When I first started Forsaken I absolutely hated Uldren Sov still do. Then I started reading about Crow and how cool of a Guardian he was. I wanted to meet him in game. And when I did, let’s just say. The Traveler sure knows how to play a joke. Uldren Sov the man who killed my partner Cayde. Reborn as a guardian. At first I was shocked, angry and confused. And I didn’t want anything to do with him. Hell I wanted the option to kill him again. Then I actually did more of his missions and read more of his lore. And his life is just well. Sad. Waking up with no memory, with people despising and killing him, all because he wears a face he doesn’t recognize. He’s seeking redemption for past actions he doesn’t even remember. It’s the perfect redemption story for him. Also Glint is just awesome.
8:13 I think that is the first time chelchis has been mentioned in destiny 2 (for those who don't know Chelchis was the kell of house stone who was most likely killed by Oryx during the whirlwind his name appears in the king's fall raid weapons and armor.)
"We make a good team guardian. its a shame we never met before or i mightve not died in the 1st place" me while reloading my revolver one bullet at a time: "yes, you are right"
While I appreciate the intent regarding Wrathborn Hunt spoilers, the first 2 minutes is all in-game already. So really it's just the Petra and some Awoken tidbits that aren't playable yet.
Yeah, I've seen a video with the Zavala dialogue in-game. Probably just the Petra, Paladin, and Savathun dialogue that aren't in yet. The Savathun one honestly sounds like we might get it when we're hunting down the High Celebrant?
Drifter is just the best fucking character in Destiny hands down. His personality, story, his involvement with darkness and the nine, he's hilarious and one of the most mysterious characters as well
The fun thing about his lore is that you get to see an entirely different side of the Drifter. There was a time when he would stick his neck out for others, support people, look out for them. Of course it didn't take him long to turn into the half smiling charlatan that he is, but seeing all of that other stuff kind of puts things into perspective. And do not be mistaken; I am fully aware that after that theres still all of the fucked up shit he did just to get Gambit rolling. Still though, that other stuff is pretty nice
Thats actually really interesting that the drifter would consider fallen a delicacy and can be “shucked like crabs” the lore is so rich in these bungie games, even if people say its a bad game it has so much lore, prolly enough to make a very large book. And its worth to note that Phylaks mentions Chelchis and the other kells, the fallen revered Chelchis so it confuses me why she would say that? And says to “resurrect them” 😦
If there is anyone making weird cooking recipies out of everything it has to be the guy that starved to death nonstop for years. If you look closely in his area on the annex, half the things the drifter has on that room are cooking utensils. Hell, he's even cooking his jade coins!
Yeah lol, Chelchis was revered by all fallen, but he was long dead, killed in the hands of The Taken King himself ,we never managed to see his power like Skolas and Aksis,it's really confusing.
@@voltus20 Thats actually a really sad lore behind The Drifter, he watched children starve, killed, massacres by fallen... so i don’t blame him for eating fallen😂 i mean saint 14 said he watched dregs eat children so its only fair if we eat them back😂
Damn the line when he says, “We make a good team, Guardian. It’s a shame we never met before or I might not have died in the first place.” Hits different.
I love how they made Uldren's death somewhat ambiguous. Like, either my character shot him, or Petra shot him, or we both shot him. That way Ghost saying 'they don't hold a grudge' isn't necessarily wrong
Crow is so different from Uldren, it's kinda mind boggling. I kinda hope crow finds out about who he was before but I also don't want him to feel guilty.
5:00 If the Guardian did but still remained a Guardian of humanity then that's okay. Maybe we're set to make 'Dark Guardians' an actual thing but not as an opposing faction to the Light but rather just some folk fighting fire with fire.
@@Sammie1053 They could make Dark Guardians in the way we have the Followers of Yor. Guardians who go off the deep end. Shin Malphur and Warlock Anour would have a field day trying to kill/round them up.
@@Amirifiz about that shin malphur believed in the grey between absolutes and that if someone could truly wield the dark but not to fall to light or dark would become something more. Only our guardian has done this, other who wield the darkness Eris drifter and the stranger fail at balancing the light and dark. Elsie views the darkness as a tool, the drifter doesn’t trust the light at all even fearing his ghost, and eris is obsessed with its mystery and believes its the only way to survive. The only way to win is to balance the grey between absolutes and become something more than light or dark.
"We make a good team Guardian. It's a shame we never met before or I might not have died in the first place" Me: UUHHHHH.... ☝️.....✊ *awkward whistling*
To a certain point, stasis can be very predictable. If you find yourself facing one, bait them to use their abilities and make good distance, they always seem very eager to use it. It's almost like they have adopted a stereotypical Titans mentality.
The mobility and Warmind Cell potential of top tree Dawnblade is too good for me to ever fully abandon. And that’s not even talking about Well of Radiance or the sheer durability of bottom tree Voidwalker.
"Don't worry, my guardian doesn't hold grudges." "Uh...Ghost, do you not remember-" "Doesn't hold grudges." "Bro, I literally killed this guy because he killed Cayde."
Honestly I thought Ghost held the bigger grudge, listening to all his voice lines in Forsaken. I was getting worried about him when I played it. But then he turned a big 180 at the end and realized Uldren was being manipulated
The sexual tension between Eris and Eli/Wu Ming is extremely fun to watch. It's intriguing to watch the Drifter show affection by using names like Moondust. Their shared dialogue during Season of Arrivals' Open World Activity was enjoyable to say the least, especially when they laugh about a Joke of Drifter
“we make a good team guardian. it’s a shame we never met before or i might not have died in the first place.” this line always kills me when i finish a hunt
The fact that Phylaks said "Chelchis, Skolas, Aksis, resurrect them and reduce them to dregs" gives me hope that we might see Wrath of the Machine again in the future or even actually see Chelchis as a future enemy.
@@HintedImage but it's also very hard for stasis to stop things once they get above a certain size .Aksis was huge he might be able to kill her with his wipe mechanic before she could freeze him solid.
I love all the dramatic Irony with allot of these lines "Don't worry my Guardian isn't the kind to hold a grudge" "Its a shame we never met before or I might not have died in the first place"
Every day I feel more and more like shit for not being able to tell Uldren, sorry - The Crow, the truth about what happened. Even if he had it coming, it still feels wrong hiding it from him. Keeping secrets isn't always the best thing to do.
Honestly I love the bond between the gaurdian and crow that is being forged it makes it feel like a check in type thing where two friends are talking out in the field we should have this with elsie and saint and zavala little tid bit conversations that make the game more alive when exploring.
