Jez's guardian's name _is_ Jez. He's a Hunter that spends most of his time in the crucible, has a go pro mounted on his ghost, and has "Thanks, I hate it" embroidered on his cloak in Eliksni script.
The fact that you can watch the first cutscene then the last cutscene (or stitch them together like someone did) and it still makes perfect sense has me convinced. They split the final shapes intro into two and inserted Lightfall in the middle, I’m like 95% sure of that
@@MW2proification Back in 2020, 3 dlcs were announced, Beyond Light, Witch Queen and Lightfall, Witch Queen got delayed by a year and thus so did Lightfall, and then Bungie decided to have what would be Lightfall's campaign, in Final Shape
@@varisrevolver4061 i was referring to how FS was announced before WQ was even released so LF had time to be worked on like any standard DLC. Besides, it was probably for the best to have another dlc anyway to flesh it out because it would have been a real shame to conclude Light and Dark saga with a standard 8-9 mission campaign to the penultimate villain was just got a cameo to.

i'm sorry, this feels like they gave 3 years to develop the witchqueen campaign, it went well, and then they told the same team, "heres some extra money, now do the same in one year.... while we add an entirely new subclass AND rework armor." so disappointing. But the gameplay changes are solid, the tormentors are fantastic, and I do have some hope that this was planned from the later dialogues with Osiris, since he sounds just as confused as we are by all of this.
I'll be honest literally all I cared about was the subclass grapple. And the fact I have not yet been disappointed with it says a lot in both ways. I got what I actually cared about at this point. Something I can actually just have fun screwing around with
Gotta love that they teased you with strand for the whole campaign, but forced you to finish the WHOLE thing before you could use it it free roam to do any testing
I’m convinced I’m just cursed- every single game or expansion Ive ever pre ordered has turned out bad or at least disappointing. Cyberpunk( although I still enjoyed it just everyone else hated it), original d2, anthem, the division 2, borderlands 3, I cant think of a single thing Ive pre ordered and came out good since I pre ordered the Taken King all those years ago.

I'm commenting late because reasons, anyway: In highschool I created a cult named the Cult of Greg where once someone named Greg dies they return to the Great Greg entity and once all Gregs across all time have been united they will bring the cataclysm and a new world so that's probably why Destiny happens and why the name Greg fell out of fashion. Easy way to mess with the tormentors. Jump from a lower platform to an upper platform, Wait for him to jump up after you, then jump back down and repeat. Shooting at him the whole time. Easy solos

genuinely feel as if the entire community woke up on launch day and decided to just dislike lightfall. I've never felt such a fckin insane disconnect between whats in the game and what the community says is in the game. strands still fun as fuck tho
if I have no d2 friends never done a d2 raid or dungeon not in a clan and every clan I join goes up in smoke, am I a part of the d2 community and do I have to share their opinions? I think no, destiny is a looter shooter go look at borderlands games for their "story" and be bored of 1 love 2 hate 1 1/2 and be annoyed at 3's repetition
Gameplay is sick story is less sick, i’m unsure why everyone’s shitting on it so much though given 90 percent of people are only gonna play it once for strand and then probably never again
