I knew that I playing during red war, and curse of Osiris, but I just recently saw proof of me playing during warmind, which I didn't remember playing until I saw the worm god fight again, then I realized that I had played up until season of dawn, and returned at season of arrivals, boy did miss some stuff, I never played season of the hunt, and I regret it a lot, been playing ever since.
The almighty was in season of the worthy as a part of the seasonal story when trials came back. Fuck off bot accounts. That mission is no longer in game.
Lore-wise in full scale of the size of Destiny Mercury: yes it would've been a bit longer (or faster in that suction travel speed) of the travel to get to the center of that Space station, but for the sake of Gameplay....
I remember getting stuck on the outside of the almighty, i saved a screenshot of it while holding the sunshot, it was awesome, even if i wasn't supposed to be there.
@@gorilla1086 I don’t 100% know why but I think it was because there were so many things that were to be done that new players would get confused about as well as they needed more space to make expansions since they were starting to run out of space for the game
@@CapCody you're not refering to story campaign missions there. You're refering to seasonal story and seasonal content, which is much lower scale than DLCs mate. You can't compare them, they are different models of content drops.
@@seb5542 Nah, ever since forsaken DLCs have been:Do some chores, play a boring mission that takes like 5 minutes, do some more chores, rinse and repeat for the ENTIRE time. Its so fucking annoying, i wonder if im paying 40 dollars for a DLC or a to-do list
@@seb5542 The story missions are nowhere near as fun and/or exciting. It's actually horrendous. look where we are at right now, no actual content for 6 FUCKING MONTHS,(and the 30th-anniversary content is boring after you've done it more than 3 times, DoE is a worse version of the menagerie, and the dungeon is a cakewalk that has The. Exact. Same. Mechanic. Through. The. Whole. Thing. Prophecy at least shook it up a bit AND ITS FREE!!!
This is beyond frustrating. Because right here bungie shows that they are the fucking best when it come to making something feel so badass and so important, like your adventure has lead all up to this moment. While the campaign was decent (not super amazing), it needed to be more full. Gaul needed to be a villain more out of reach, meaning a ton of campaign to get to him. This would’ve allowed to make scenes like this more powerful. This has been one of destiny’s biggest problems. some of the most BADASS SHIT you’ve ever seen, with no proper build up. I’m saying this becuase ive been playing destiny sense the beta and all the way up to today. I just want this game to be the best game out there, because it holds such a special place In my heart
It's heart breaking that we'll never get to relive the red war and all the vaulted DLC in their glory. I'd choose to have the 250gb download for it all back tbh.
When I'd fly through this fuel line, I'd always be sure to pan left when looking through the see-through glass, then pan right to the sun, then pan up to the ship above, then down since what's when you fall out of the line. Good times.
Omg I’ve been looking for this part. Only played red war one time in ‘19 before it was vaulted but this scene was always so fucking cool. I have the song on my iTunes and I every time inner light comes on I knew it played for this part. I just remember being in such awe. Then when they had the weekly rotating levels the music never played again. And I was a bit saddened at that fact. Least it never played again for me.
I'm sad that New Lights and also veteran players can't experience this hella amazing and sick moment, while on the way to safe the whole Solar system. R.I.P Mercury btw. I mean if you know what the almighty did to it.
@@martinnorman9012 Yeah. The almighty basically uses Planets as fuel to laser a hole into the Sun, to then Fly into and explode it. There is also a cutscene where this is seen.
how come the character was limping to the tube? I dont remember that happening in this part of the red war, I just remember running into the tube regardless great edit :)
See im not a veteran i havent been playing since too long not from d1 or even d2 beta but being able to play the absolute goldmine makes me think im just as veteran as everyone else. Godbless. (Also to note why did this tunnel section take literally 2 minutes of loading in gameplay lol)
@@alottadamage8192 negative. You can cause this naturally by slowly moving into the tunnel and stopping as soon as it starts. It loops the animation until you actually go through it and out the other side.
you mean the base campaign right? I think there are two other parts that are cool too. The initial attack on the tower, and the final mission on titan, where you use that heavy machinery to run away and ride over tons of Hive.
