Rasputin is and still will be my favorite Character and Story in Destiny. One of the, if not the only fictional sentient AI with the weaponry to end civilizations as we know it and still decided to protect humanity to the very end.

Devotion inspires bravery, bravery inspires sacrifice, sacrifice leads to death. I always thought that this is foreshadowing of Rasputin becoming a guardian?

I still believe that the human and exo guardians were one of Red’s original Seraphs during the collapse and this season was about us becoming his Seraph again.

Evaze is top notch. He's a little Byf and Mylen mixed in with some Datto and Kackis. Legend covers it all.

It's an awful shame that we FINALLY after 10 years get full character development for Ras only for him to be killed off within the same season. It had the opportunity to be another Crow like moment and character but the final cutscene did hit pretty hard.

I wonder will a ghost revive Rasputin since they can pretty much revive robot EXO's are the best example

There is a dialog at the end of one of the heist battlegrounds that is not important to the main story but I think it is awesome writing. In it Elsie asked Ana about a new girlfriend she heard she had. And Ana gushes over her. At the end she says she's on her way back to tower to see her and ask Elsie if she wants to come meet her. The voice actress for Elsie sounds so genuine when she says yes. Like she is talking to her real sister. And this conversation apparently it is a result her earlier rant to Mara that left her reminded that Ana as a Guardian has no memories from before she got her light. She doesn't remember Elsie and growing up as children. She doesn't remember the bond they had. And it appears that Elsie has thought about it and is willing to try to show Ana that. And to make new memories now on. Then you get the last conversation they have of the season. Ana finally able to accept that Elsie does love her and just wanted the best for her.

Am I the only one that thinks this could all be an amazing movie/series to just watch?

Am I the only one who doesn’t feel sorry for Rasputin? He was antagonist since destiny 1 and killed who knows how many guardians. Also, Rasputin always felt like a bomb hanging over our head, ready to drop any second without warning. Too bad he’s gone cause he was/could’ve been humanity’s most powerful ally if he just trusted the guardians sooner.

Insane looking back on this season. What a massive culmination of a storyline, all the details and connections spread throughout the many years of d1 into d2. It is absolutely absurd how hard lightfall has fallen off in writing. Damn those execs at activision, those devils ruined what could have been an amazing final expansion for d2.

Makes me wonder did the traveler stay because of Rasputin? Or did the traveler move because of a defensive posture? So many questions I really hope lightfall is as epic as we are being led to believe.

Well to be honest evaze out of all of the seasons of destiny 2 the witch queen I count season of the seraph to be the greatest season of all four because it had more emotional then the others and it was more epic than the others also and if anybody disagrees about it then they are missed emotioned or missed felted and to be honest I loved season of the seraph because it evolved with family and I love it for that reason!🥲🙂
