The googly eyes and megamind getup kinda take the edge off of his creepy factor, but I love just how “other” the Witness feels in the Destiny world compared to everything else.
Sound designers did great with the Witness & the Dread, it'd be neat too if it's still Bret Dalton doing the alt language the Witness is using. Since this seems like It's just sfx from its raid version, is there more sfx with It's normal form?
@@Aegis_Mind I meant the sfx in this vid features a deeper tone of the Witness (like how it's voice changed in the Iconoclasm/7th mission into that deep male voice when it was angry/wounded & kept using that afterwards) that's why to me it seems like all of this is from the raid where the Witness is much more demonic, I was mainly asking if there's sfx of "normal" Witness, like the one you fight in the Iconoclasm mission. & yeah! Brett Dalton is the voice actor of the Witness & it's all sfx work to give it that layered voice
Almost Like the voices in dread intrusion from halo. You can tell that some sounds are definitely backwards. Bungie seems to have gone back to their roots with the whole... Creepy gravemind esc roaring and dialogue. On a side note in halo 2 ost falling up, has anyone ever deciphered those voices?
Great comparison. I met Jay Weinland who worked on sound from Halo CE up to some time in Destiny 2 before he left Bungie in 2019-ish. He was probably the only sound guy left who worked on Halo.
I honestly have no idea. I played through the campaign so i imagine I've already heard a bunch of these but I'm not about to try and pinpoint all of these sfx lol
Yes! I got them a couple nights ago. I've been working overtime these last couple weeks but I got a staycation next week and I plan to get those sfx out (:
Life has gotten busier and I haven't even played this years' raid and the raid from Lightfall, so unless those sounds are identified by someone else, i cant say for certain if ill upload them. Subjugators and other Dread coming sometime next week (:
